Riminds me of a story i read a few years ago when some sicko had

I once saw a no. plate with just the number "7" on it in the west end, was pretty cool! although im not sure on how legal that is?

On the subject though i pretty sure the most expensive plate ever sold by the is "k1ng". Sold for £100,000 (i think).

Steve Parrish who was a motorbike & then a truck racing driver ( now retired ) managed to get PEN 15 registered on a car in the U.K. a few years back.

He also tried to get M1 NGE but the DVLA refused to let that be issued.

was it on a jag?? if so its the guy who lives near me(or at least he used to have a jag). its a Guernsey plate(only numbers)
he was offered £70,000 for it and turned it down! as its his lucky number

the most expensive number plate is A1.

the 1st one made avil in the UK.

sold last time for £1.5m. (as far as i remember..)

there a few cool ones round here.

P155 OFF on a 355 modena,
FA51 CAR on a DB9 now was on a noble before
FA51 NOB on noble.
EDD 1-7 on all diff cars, hes called Edd by the way

Well, I'm a big fun of personalised number plates and I always looking at them.
The best one I have ever seen was PAY UP on a black Merc CL500 driving by 2 black blokes. I think that one is funny. The other might be very expensive one was 01 (coluld be O1, OI or 0I) and the funny thing is it was on a red 3 series WV Golf driving by a must be 70 something years old lady. WTF? Other, good one but it was german was PIMP. Not bad, eh? Almost forgot! 666 on a Maybach driving by a black fella! Was scary...
