How to get rid of messege delivered sound

i tried to delete the notification.mid sound file...but its of no use.some beep sound is getting instead...can anyone solve the problem...?

Which phone do you have? Usually you just select no message tone.

there is no option to change tha tone

i think with davinci u can change that

Errrrmmm... can I assume that you still want a delivery report? If not, switch it off. I don't see why the notifictaion sound is bothering you.

While listening to music the delivery report sounds and pauses the music ... thats annonying...

Even if you switch off the notification sound, it'll still interrupt the music for a brief moment. There are people in other countries who have so little, and here we are complaining about a "beep beep" we sometimes get whilst listening to our MP3's on our state of the art mobile phones(!)

Learn to live with it.
