Media pleyer in k310 in standby mode

Hi want to access my up and down shortcut in standby mode in my k310 by it keeps turning do volume up and down is there an alternate.

Also how do i turn the volume up and down and skip song during/browseing through the phone. eg k750 I know that the phone does not have side up and down keys
