transfering email video clips to my k800i

Hi
ive tried to sift through all the topics but cant really find any solutions. I have the sony ericsson k800i. I can transfer photos from my phone to PC and PC to phone with no problems. I can also transfer video from my phone to my PC. HOWEVER
when i try to transfer video emails from PC to PHONE by copy and paste into the video folder it wont work. a picutre icon comes up and you can only select "send" and cant play it.
The video clips i want have been sent to my via email from friends. and i want to put them on my phone. but simply cant so i would really appriciate any help.
Please reply i simple terms as im no technical person.
i would greatly welcome any help .
