i had this same problem with my w900i, exept mine happend when i simply took the memory card out, there are a few threads about it on here, if you search for "wsod" w.hite s.creen o.f d.eath.

a way to fix it at home is head over to davinci team www.davinciteam.com, and flash your phone with there software, it will cost ya though.

the lastest firmware is : R5BC004

hi, i had the same problem with my W900, went to davinci and updated the firmware, but now the phone presents another problem, if i turn it on, it will bring a white screen, vibrate (until here i was like "yes!") then the white screen continues, not only that but all the keys on the side of the screen doesnt work, its like all the top board its not comunicating well, what can it be? (it enters in standby mode, if you press the "C" key or any other key in the part of the screen, it wont come back, but pressing any number will do) can it be wrong software? wrong cable? pls help i love this phone!
