Now that's not nice. Is there an anouncement or not? Possibly is not a very good answer when its talking about tomorrow. It's not like Miles Flint is going to flip a coin tomorrow morning and that'll be it. We know they're are two phones very close to announcement and there may be more but it doesn't really matter.

The rumour is based on a document that mentions a wireless headpiece and nothing else. Would SE reall keep the anouncement of its flagship phones a secret? Surely if they were goinig to make an anouncement they would alert journalists and other need to know people that they are goinig to make an anouncement - like they did when that last t-series phone was anounced.
Sofia could be anounced tomorrow - but i would be surprised, even more surprised if it was anounced in america first.

During the whole internal dates scheduled a lot problems arise that have to be fixed. So the first scheduled dates are delayed quite often (As seen on the decisions about whether or not include uiq in Sofia). But Miles Flint has to set an internal deadline to which every acpect of the to be released phones have fit the announcement rules. Although the announcement is to be Monday or Tuesday,But still the wait isn't over,when will the phones be released?.its going to be another few months wait.And even after phones are released after few months they will be overpriced and some need to wait few more months for buying it at fair price.So i believe even if phones r released tomorrow ,it will take year to get them at fair price for people like me.

Not always. the W880i was released about 2-4 weeks after its accouncement. That would also be my estimation for sofias release.

Sofia is very likely to be announced soon. But my feeling says it will be more
the 5th of June than the 28/29th.

I think that'll be the case too. Sofia's been in development for so long now I can't see how it could NOT be ready. The only thing I can think of that might hold back the release would be if they decide to wait for an OS change, like the P1i.

Errrm.....the pic shown does not represent 102x48x17mm which is approx. that of K800 / K810i size....
...pic suggest a M600 / P1 size....i.e., 106 x 55 x 17 mm
....Hence either the pic is wrong or the dimensions are wrong
Any advice?

Okay one more thing, just to clear things up.
i never confirmed anything regarding the OS. it is most likely to become uiq, but still not certain. things can happen even AFTER product announcements, although this would be quite a huge change IMO. but u know, just like the announcement of t68 some years back, this can just pop out of the blue.
also, i never said the announcement date was the 28th, i said that sounded about right compared to my info, which was in between these two months.
and yes, 5 mp & hspda is up next time including a new
version.

N95 could be more price retentive than K850 once released, but K850 will strike back for it's fine construction in which N95 "looses alot". just base this argument regarding the W880 and 5700 issue on GSMArena. many nokia fans are yelling on W880's price and says that 5700 kick it's ass or whatever, but 5700 construction is "mediocre" compared to W880's fine construction, yeah 5700 is more feature-packed, but what's the use of those features and the competitive price when the phone breaks down easily?(cheap looking design, rotating mechanism, poor battery even though dimensions being twice as large as W880?)

i think Lizzy is the one that suits me for my fancy of slim, yet powerful smartphones. i think Lizzy, just like Elena(P1) will have 128MB Ram and 256MB ROM. if those specs were true on lizzy, then it's my best alternative for the expensive P1 and successor for M600

I wouldn't keep your hopes up for today, let alone May 29th which is more likely (as Xumdeo mentioned, holiday today) plus it is a tuesday. I would bet on June for the announcement of Sofia and Shinobu (possibly the 5th June, could even be mid to late June).
