So... MegaBass was cut out of K800 ... and was reintroduced in the W850, to make the Walkman(s) seem 'better'. 2mp AF was cut out after W810 ... and will be reintroduced in the 2mp Cyber-Shot, to make the Cyber-Shot(s) seem 'better'. And QVGA 30fps video recording (3D graphics card) was cut out after the W900 ... and will be reintroduced in the 5mp Cyber-Shot, to make the Cyber-Shot(s) seem 'better'.

sofia will have nvidia goforce5500 graphics chip...The newer version of what w900/p990 had. I know its still only qvga, better then crappy old qcif, but i bet it will be much better quality with the new chip.

The 3.2mpx wont have autofocus or best pic or image stabilizer...se will screw it somehow.they just wont deliver everything in one.

According to rumours, it should have WLAN. And since it's w950's successor, it should also be a walkman.
TBH, I'm most excited about Maria, out of the

I remember a review of iMobile 902 at mobile-review which said that SE's camera will use the same camera lens as applied in iMobile 902 (5 MPx, can be interpolated to 8 MPx).
That iMobile 902 is currently available here in Jakarta, Indonesia, for Rp 2,999,000 (about USD 330 with exchange rate USD 1 = Rp 9,100).
This price is cheaper than SE K800 (Rp 3,299,000 or USD 362), considering that K800 only has 3.2 MPx camera.

Now now, i-mobile qualities is by far worse than SE. They are housebrand! Their 5MP was only measured full of 3MP effective. Unlike other companies who uses a real MP as their resolutions. Sofia's quality would without doubt way better than of i-mobile's.

some of the photos the imobile 902 produced were decent. And sofia is said to have the same cam unit. So photos might turn out the same. But im sure sofia will be better...Who knows, maybe the changed the unit for sofia, or just made a lot of changes to the imobile one.

the Xenon Flash is able to have brighter light but for very short time only, the LED is able to work for long times ( as long as the battery can handle ).

ill rephrase my above post..Yes most is true though im unsure about internal memory and the mem card included. But the internal amount does sound logical, but maybe it will have even more than 64mb, again i dont know that for sure though...
And the extra led is possible to help with video recording at night, this feature was missing from k800. Now if
really do read these forums then im sure they saw the complaints of the missing led in k800 where you couldnt record with light at night, so maybe they added this to sofia....

Spot on, Bavlondon! The K800 cover is slow to slide, and causes damage to the back of the phone as you open/close it!
The S700/W800(owned one, replaced it with the other, lol) 'switches' were vastly better, faster to use, not clumsy at all, like K series are(yes K750 suffers too)......

I very much agree. I would like the one side of Sofia to look very much like a camera but I think they should make it simple and as maintenance free as possible.
I liked the S700i's solution. The only thing that let it down was that the camera surround tended to scratch easily.

I am beginning to suspect that optical zoom won't be included in the specifications.
Sofia is rumoured to be smaller and slimmer than the K800i - it would be some achievement to squeeze optical zoom into such as small package.
Though I am only guessing.
Hopefully I will be proved wrong.

It depends how "big" it's supposed to be if 2x optical zoom then it would be quite possible to put it in phone thinner than k800 but something like 3x is 'almost' impossible but I hope I'm wrong

coz SONY have puted 3x optical zoom in 17mm camera thick

Optical zoom doesnt always give you better pics. Look at the n93. The n73 takes better pics than that.
And SE always produce good results.
I just want 5MP with AF and video equivilent of the w900. A bit better lens cap design and im sorted. SE are always good all round phones so im not worried at all.
But if i see qcif................................................lol

About Sofia. One of the main gripes about the W900's video recording is that it was only available to send to other phones capable of playing it. There was no other video recording size. I hope Sofia can record in different resolutions.
