from sneff at se-world.info
Hello,
first information reached me to a M600i-basierten Smartphone with WLAN.
The equipment carries the internal code name “Lizy” and probably a M-model will be (M610i?)
The technical data correspond probably so far to the M600i, it however WLAN to it came. A camera is missing at this model likewise.
Optically it sees to the M600i very similar, it is only silver ones and somewhat more sharp-edged. The size actually corresponds however to the M600i. It has likewise a rocker keyboard. The loudspeakers are formed by a relatively long number of holes in the housing in front.
I can communicate further information and details however unfortunately only in the run next day.
The equipment is to be seen apparent only as Facelift to the M600i and only one of many to SE Business Smartphones for 2007

and maybe a 3.2mp
(i did not unnderstand it)
In addition one must see the following (because all to always roar that then the exclusivity away from Cybershot is):
The 3MP was in July 2006 the striking argument of the K800i. It is clearly that that the only model will not remain, the Cybershot3MP has - it guarantees further giving this year - not only one or 2.
It is nevertheless in principle the same with the K700i. That was applied at that time as “Camera meets Phone” - therefore meckert nevertheless also nobody that the K750i, K800i and CO “more Camera even than K700i” is.
At the latest in July 2007 if the K800i does not come becomes anybody more proclamations if the discussion of a K800i-basierten Walkman Candybars comes.

"After the announcement of the iPhone, the rumors grew anew instead of fading away. They deal with future generations and the versions of the iPhone, and the reaction of the phone giants, which should launch the “iPhone killer”. There appeared early fakes, like this one"

@PeterKay
Nice post, but I doubt SE would go out and actively try and compete with the iPhone.
And so Izzy seems to be the M600 upgrade with an added Wi-Fi, and the Elena seems to be the M600/P990 successor.
And the latter with metal it seems

sneff deleted a topic talking about Elena or the (p1000)
and now he opened a new topic talking about anew mxxx with 3.2mp (same specs as the p1000 or elena)
from sneff
Hello Community,
there was already times a similar Thread for this however unfortunately by Fake speculations the something from the rudder ran.
Therefore a Thread to a HighEnd Smartphone planned again SE apparent for at the end of the 2007, perhaps also only at the beginning of of 2008:
The following information comes from MySymbian.com where one of the members on a meeting was, where this equipment was presented.
The equipment of which it is reported a silver (polished metal apparent) and very durable equipment with black strips at the display and a M600-ähnlichen keyboard (apparent SE does not have itself yet decided whether a M600 or a P990i-Tastatur on it place would find) which red shining letters has - however without Tastaturflip and navigation cross.
The display has 2,6-Zoll and is somewhat smaller thereby than that of the P990i.
The equipment corresponds to the masses of the M600i is however probably somewhat thinner.
Beside UMTS and all M600-Fähigkeiten the equipment bring along a 3.2-MP-Kamera (vermutl Cybershot, the Protoyp did not have light/a lightning) and WLAN. The internal memory is to amount to 160MB, memory card plumb bob is present (M2 probably).
The camera lens does not have a cover. The Jog with 3-Wegen participates likewise used place. The Akku in that prototypes was strong 1250 mAh.
Since the Probanten was not allowed locally the equipment to switch on gives it no information to the operating system, it however reported that one the participant the equipment had by mistake switched on and, before it was removed from him, who rang out typical SE starting sound.
We wait this in further information or photos, seem however a very early kind of the product inquiry to have been.
The final designation would be probably conceivable toward M800i.

maybe this one is not Elena???
Posted by shaliron
@Cristiano
I would think that Izzy would be called the M610. That would just be a M600 with wi-fi.
Elena would be something like the M800 or M700. Elena will have a 3.2MP camera and wi-fi.
And the Jan 17 press conference would be for the announcement of SE's financial results, not an announcement for phones.

@xumdeo
On the Red Bravia phone pic you posted, can you tell me what the form factor is, is it a clamshell with a swiveling screen?
Posted by >500
@goldenface
guess its a swivel screen. Look at the way it closes...In the first pic of it....
Posted by Aware
Looks like they robbed the 902/903/904SH flip/twist mechanism.....

W51S announcement tmr at 11am TKY time
SO703i and possibly SO903iTV announcement tmr at 15:30 TKY time
Posted by goldenface
Its gonna be extremely 'long' when opened. I'm hoping for a different form-factor for the Euro versions.
The 903SH was big when opened and that didn't have a screen as big as this.
It would be good if someone could confirm the form-factor of the Euro Bravia
It can either be slider, clamshell or flip.
Posted by Aware
xumdeo, does the standard SO903i have to be opened to take a call, or can you work it closed??
Also, do japanese SEs have answerphone, like 904SH, 904T, etc...??
Would like to see 903iTV running; the form seems more japanese than std SO903i......
Posted by xumdeo
you can work it closed, as long as you have a handsfree
answer machine service: i think so, if not at least in the form of push-direct to your voicemail
we'll see the so903itv tmr, hopefully, though it's not really relevant, tmr's for 703i. but 903itv is ready to be announced, it's docomo's call

that phone is fricken amazing
Posted by goldenface
Yeah. I like the indicator feature on the W51s and the phone in general has nice attention to detail.
On the link above it says the Bravia screened SO703iTV has only a 2'0 inch screen, is that a mistake? It looks like an awfully long 16:9 screen for it to be just 2.0 inches.
Posted by shaliron
I can imagine the SO903iTV's hinge design as the design that SE will use on their Cyber-shot flip phone. It's the most practical design wise for taking photos horizontally.
Only thing is that on the designs like the W44S or N93, mean that you can do more with the phone in landscape mode (play games, browse internet etc.), but taking photos is more clunky. I'd imagine that type of hinge would be used on the BRAVIA or Handycam phones.
Can't wait to see some Euro equivalents soon.

I'd like to know more about the TV receiving capabilities of the SO903iTV. Does it have a DTV receiver?

2004: 1.3mp
2005: 2mp
2006: 3.2mp
2007: 5mp
2008: 7.2mp
2009: 8-10mp
2020: 200mp
do u think the mobiles will have more than 7.2mp??
Posted by xumdeo
2.7' screen
check your browser encoding, some of the x and " are not decoded properly
Posted by shaliron
@goldenface
I'd find that unlikely. I don't think that the aerial would be strong enough to hold a signal.
@cristiano
Well 5MP is the max that phones can deliver quality photos from. Even normal cameras reach peak at around 7MP. 10MP even for a dedicated camera is just a downgrade in picture quality. Samsung's 10MP cameraphone is for people who believe the more the merrier.
I'd have to expect no greater than 5MP quality cameraphones (not silly marketing ones) in the near future. Just like the camera market, it'll just be about refining picture quality and features.

we'll definitely have more outdoor ads by that time... and every state in the US will be called billboard metro.
if they can find a portable printer for that

I just hope theyll stop at 5MP and then continue researching on a more productive screens... megapix screens this time... enough of the still imaging...
and i guess
is gearing towards that road... with the BRAVIA™ phone perhaps... **crossing fingers**[ This Message was edited by: rockygali on 2007-01-16 09:20 ]

@Shaliron
So it has the suffix iTV just because it has a Bravia screen?
I thought this was one of the new handsets capable of receiving DigitalTV broadcast (DMB or DVB).
Posted by shaliron
@goldenface
My bad. Misread your post
Posted by goldenface
@Shaliron
No worries
I am still to find any Mobile DTV service providers preparing for these new handsets. All I can find in the UK is a couple of trials in Oxford and Cambridge.
I'll see if I can dig up any more specs of the above phones.

the specs are all found on the links quoted above, they're good enough
but if u have any questions, just ask

RE: the SO903iTV
I've just translated the spec sheet of the NTTDocomo press release and found this:-
| Quote: |

Is this telling us that it can record/pause live TV? The way Sky+ does?
Posted by Aware
(Typical Japanese-English translation there...
Indeed it can!
Posted by goldenface
Sounds very good.
So you can watch a TV program, the program will pause when a call comes through, and the handset will record the TV while you take the call and resume playing it back when finished.
Brilliant! I hope the Euro BRAVIAs have this feature.
Posted by dandyqb
hmm, imagine if the call took 3 hours...that phone must have a huge memory...
Posted by Aware
...well, the standard SO903i has 1GB onboard.......
Posted by Stef
Nice!
Posted by goldenface
Yeah! We demand to see our version, and quick.
