The whole point of the rumours thread is to piece together what we think may be upcoming from the info that people post. Discounting each others information is all part of the game.If we had one source that we took as gospel then there would be no point.
We have reached a stage now in this thread that we have a fairly good idea of what to expect in the next couple of months at least and thats all thanks to the many contributors - correct or not - and to Shaliron for sorting the mess out and keeping things organised.
When all is said and done, we're all nothing but a great bunch of dirty rumour-mongerers - lets not forget that.

I hope that the m600 sucessor is released with wifi atleast. camera is not that important to me. if it gets released with wifi, i'm going to pounce on it.

Searching on the above link at the letter S for exibitors, Sony Ericsson is not listed, but only Sony Electronics.

Well it's interesting you say that. The thread is for discussing the rumours, and without discussion we wouldn't have all this info. And if you want all the 'important' stuff that is deemed credible, then look on the first post. There's a reason why I did that. Everything is in one place, easy to find, and I can guarantee you that most of that info will be correct (which some other forums have a hard time believing). Obviously there's going to be some mix ups, but those are sorted out too.
But I understand what you mean. I sit here for a while trying to filter out all the info to post up a credible first post. It takes a bit of work

Especially on a phone that we've already got pics on, such as the W200, don't feel any need to give more. One is seriously enough, and any more is a bonus.

That means, to check whether a picture, info or whatever has been said, you can use the first post as a guide. It just saves on people asking repeated questions over and over again

even if sony electronics only is going to be showing up it doesnt mean there isnt gonna be announsment see as all of you may remmember sony has confirmed that they are working on an update for the psp to be able to act as a mobile phone and confirmed that sony ericsson is working on something related to the playstation brand and that it will take two years to releas these brands and the statment was in 2005 so it is highly possible after it was sudgested that we will see a "g" series this year that it is meant to be that phone that sony and sony ericsson was workin on (the whole line up) heres some links for the reports:

Lets hope the Z series is gonna stick around for a while longer (at least 2 years) well it probably will seing as they just announced Z310 and E series dosnt sound right. plus i just switched to a Z550i.

And what's wrong with a E series replacing the Z? I do agree that it doesn't sound right. The K is getting saturated so a replacement is a good idea but the Z hasn't seen too much action over the years, but then that applies to the P too. What really doesn't sound right is the fact that the rumor about the E series is that it will be Emotional designs but do all of them have to be clamshells?

Well I'm not too sure on the E series thing, but it has been rumoured for a while, and it could be logical as the Z series is getting quite old. Stef does seem quite sure about it as well.
But I'm sure on the P series. It's getting old now (as well as the design concept) and there's nowhere else to go after P990. The M series is a logical step forward.

With this new coding system for mobile phones, you'll have names for new phones for the coming 10 years..!

I don't believe that, I think the M series will remain but SE will alway's have a top end PDA Phone line. Maybe a totally new series but with the same ethos of the P series. I would also NOT say the P990I is an outdated design because it works very well.

So now we're saying that the announcement got pushed back? I don't totally mind anymore but would like to know there's nothing today. People were playing down the announcement telling us to not expect too much, so it seemed we'd be lucky to get the K550 but probably get the W200, what about the J series

Just come into my mind this thing. Regarding the "E" series, it refers to emotional design or we can call it "fashion". I read some complains about the external surface (mirror-finish) of Z610 that is easy to scratch and finger-print issue. Z610 can be categorized as emotional design or fashion also, right?
Why not SE provide something like an exclusive case or pouch to its fashion phone? Something that is fashionable too. That would be a plus I guess.
