scared me the 1st time but when i turn it off and on again its okay, but still can't connect to pc though...

can ne one help?
ps.i've tried pclink ver 1.0 as well as 1.2 and running windows 2000

I think the cable needs to be in com2, Boot up the computer. Have T100 switched off, Then plug in the lead to the phone. Start pclink, Then click connect to phone on pclink. Thats the procedure I used and it worked everytime. It should only take about a second to connect. If you're still having the same problem, I suggest taking it back where you bought it from and getting a replacement.
Maybe you could try plugging the phone in before booting up. Win2000 may have hardware protection or something. I use WinXP and when I plug or unplug a anything into my computer it resets and I get the message"your system has recovered from a serios error......"
