Very fine steinless steel topquality. Good ergonomics. One hour charging time. Very good co-operation with K800i. A real James Bond combination this K800I and MBW-100. Quite automatic connecting with K800i.

Have to agree with Matteus: this is a top notch! Also have the same combination: with K800i - just working like a charm. Charging time about 2 hours until indicator stopped flashing. Nice control of phone, wondering about battery life time. Just a pity you cannot read incoming sms...On the other hand...they are not that much heavy, but they are really....big

@vojta66

Nice looking watch, quite tempted now but the only thing putting me off is having to charge it every so often. No doubt I'll forget having had a kinetic watch for 10 years and wake up late for work one morning as the watch has died a death during the night.

Oh and you a werewolf in disguise

Well, have them since last Friday, battery life indicator still shows full scale....so, we shall see...If it could last a week, it would be ok....
Hey, Frakker, I am just a human being...

After 4 days the battery is full, so it donīt need charging very often. The quality is high, said my clockshopkeeper. I couldnīt make the clock suitable to my wrist without the help of professional. But now it fits perfect.
The vibra is not so heavy that you can sense it in noisy situation. I use the BT sometimes in meetings. Very fantastic function and very easy to disconnect the BT.

The UK SE Store now shows that you can buy it as opposed to pre-registering your interest. Ģ199.99 as mentioned previously.

I've heard about that shop. I would'nt mind having a look in there myself when I'm in London next, I'm in Berkshire. Where abouts is the new Sony Ericsson store?

Believe me its worth the trip to london.

The store is located on Kensington High Street right opposite High Street Kensington Tube Station.

Its quite a large double fronted store so you can't miss it.

@baste07

Whether it's worth it or not really depends on how much you want it!

Most 'designer' watches are overpriced - they use cheap quartz movements and you pay for the name. There's nothing wrong with quartz - they're accurate and easy maintenance, if that's what you want, but they don't compare with mechanical watches in terms of the workmanship that goes into them.

The SE watch is probably worth it compared to a designer watches, because of the BT functionality. I won't be swopping my Panerai for one, however.

I think its worth it.

Someone commented on my watch saying how good it was, they didn't even realise it was made by Sony when they first saw it so as far as looks go its a winner.

And yeah your paying less than a pricy deisnger watch plus you get the cool bluetooth features.

I asked the Sony Ericsson chap when I rang the Sony Ericsson e-shop and he said it was compatible with the P990i although on the Sony Ericsson site its not showing it as being compatible but on sites such as mobilefun it is showing as compatible.

This watch is Bluetooth 2.0 so I would say the connectivity is there but will all features work for sure is the question. I'd ask Sony Ericsson if I was you, at least you know what I was told then compare with what they tell you.

Excellent work David, cheers for that.

yep thanks!

Excellent work!

I'm going to presume that the Fossil/Abacus versions will have the same results (but without the media controls) too.

Congrats on your purchase Toney.

Can someone who has it confirm whether a drained battery for the bluetooth radio stops the watch working or whether there is a normal small cell backup for the watch functions.

Also, anyone know whether it is waterproof?

Posted by madaboutphones
have now had it last 4 days without charging - with plenty of text and call alerts each day.

also been getting alot of 'ooooh' and 'wooooow' from people in office who themselves are asking it of their wives and girlfriends for xmas

waterproof - on my manual it says not to go near water or immerse it in water.anyone elses the same?
