Yesterday I was in a phoneshop in Sweden, and they had the black one!
I looked at it and it was nice, but very BIG! (and heavy)
I asked the salesman if it would work with my M600 (I know it should´t do it, info from SE homepage)
He asked if I had my phone with my, so we could try it, and ofcourse I had. We paired my M600 with the watch and wow, it worked! I started a MP3 song and I was able to play/pause it from the watch, even thou SE say it wont work. We didn´t try to call my phone, but I think it can handle caller ID also.
A great thing, but too heavy and too big for my wrist. Also a little bit expensive for a student.

According to SE web site, this watch is listed under P990 accessories, so I'm guessing that it actually does work with P990. Maybe after a couple of patches and upgrades

The watch works with the M600i, so can't see whi it won't with the P990i.

It looks OK masseur, not the worst of designs. But you are correct the price is a little steep, might just wait a few months for the prices to drop.
Personally i prefer the silver version.

On Fossil's own web, the watch with their own brand, they write:

So - sounds strange if Fossil offers p990 compatibility and SE not ...
Hmmm... time will show... I hope .. or perhaps time to ditch the 990 ?

The fossil version does not have the media controls like the se version which is why it is cheaper.

Ordered MBW-100 today from a swedish website. Have a W950i, and what I understand so is everything compatible except SMS alerts (the same for P990 & M600).

I checked with SE UK and they are quoting 20th December for the Silver, and January for the Black in the UK. It was meant to be 25th Nov, but they have been put back.

I've got my watch today
Just used it for a few hours, but I'm totally in love with it! The vibration alert is perfect, the OLED display is really bright and the watch looks very classy!
Everything works with my W950 except the SMS alert.
One minor thing you should know when you get it. Since the link around the arm (I don't know the proper word for it) is really large, there's a risk you have to make it smaller in a watch store (I did).
But I really recommend the watch! Nice done SE!

OK Spoke to the SE Shop today (the one you link to via the http://www.sonyericsson.com/uk) and they have conformed that the Silver version will be available on the 4th December, at a price of £199,99 (woohoo!).
They are getting a total of 200 unit before xmas, and thats it, and also only the Silver version.
I pre ordered one, and when I ordered it there were 12 left free stock (well 11 now).
I also called Global Cell Solutions, and they indeed quoted me the same 4th date (they said SE UK had sent out a conformation email to all dealers today), but they are £245. They stated they thought they would get both the Silver and the Black version.
Expansys are offering 2 options, either the official UK version at 239,99, with no known availability, or the Australian/NZ version for £189,99, but it does not have a European warrenty.
So all in all the official SE UK shop looks to have the best price and availability all things considered. I went with them as I fancy the Silver and the black ain't worth the best part of £50 more.
Hope this helps any of you looking to get one.

Only problemis that in my opinion and experience Mobile Fun are both dishonest and unprofessional. On the few occassions I have dealt with them they have lied to me, send incorrect goods and charged me twice for an item, then had the cheek to take 28 days to refund the goods and try to charge a restock fee for thier mistake!
