is there anybody using the nokia 6680 for connecting to internet using the airtel gprs..
in the nokia website it is said that you can surf a broadband speed if the network operater allows it.
if any one is using it please say the speed of it in kilobytes.(not in kilobits please)

Here is what I have observed:

Though it is for N6630, I have found the same Conclusion about N6680, 81

1. Maximum Post Speed Supported by the Cable :

Nokia 6630 - 460800bps

K750i - 57600bps

2. Compression Setting

Nokia 6630 - IP Header Compression - Enabled
Software Compression - Enabled
PPP LCP Extension - Enabled

K750i - IP Header Compression - Disabled
Software Compression - Disabled
PPP LCP Extension - Enabled

3. Data Transfer Rates(On Airtel GPRS-On PC)

Nokia 6630 - Downloads : 6.9KBps, Using Download Accelerators : Upto 13.5KBps.

K750i - Downloads : 5.1KBps, Using Download Accelerators : Upto 6.9KBps

So I Think That explains it...
