Hey, havin some computer problems...
Baically its will streaming videos. If i got onto http://thatvideosite.com/ and try to play a vid i get a white box sayin "Click here to download plugin"
-So i click there
-It does a little search and says "no suitable plugins could be found"
- It gives me an option to install manually.. i click that and it takes me here:
http://www.microsoft.com/wind[....]dia/download/alldownloads.aspx
So does anyone know what i need to install? to make them work?
Also when streaming some videos they appear pink.. the video and sound plays fine... but the vid is in a birght pink colour!
Maybe thats a driver issue? im not sure
Im sure someone on here can sort this for me! (before cycovision gets here
Im running Mozilla firefox btw, Windows XP
Many Thanks in advance

@Cycovision
The default is WMP 10!
The pink video thing seems to have gone now tho! i tried playing an .mpg.. it opened using quicktime and played fine!
Its just the "install plugin issue" now..
Thanks everyone!

Looks like windows media player. The problem is most likely that you're using firefox, the microsoft plugins won't work with firefox. You could have a look at the plugins section on the firefox site for the latest windows media plugin, but other than that you might have to use the dreaded Internet Explorer or Avant browser to view that particular site
EDIT: Have you got the latest version of firefox itself? Try upgrading to the latest version anyway?
