Keen security personnel at Birmingham Airport ordered a man to turn his t-shirt inside out because it bore a drawing of two crossed guns.Staffordshire design engineer Dave Osbourne was wearing a Guns N Rollers t-shirt.

Guns N Rollers are a team in "an all-female roller derby league located in Portland Oregon", according to their website. Their logo is a tribute to that of hard rocking, hard drinking, legendarily fractious LA band Guns N Roses.

As he waited to board the flight to Newark, New Jersey, guards told Osbourne the graphic represented a security risk, and could upset other passengers.See below for a chilling picture of the deadly duds.

The 21-year-old said: "I am all for extra security, but this was just plain stupid."

Complete madness thats what this is....the way things are going we might be seeing those nude flights someone mentioned here....might be a good idea actually!

I mean seriously....do they really think passengers would get upset by a T-shirt?

Amazing.. Stupidity in action. Think everyone should just fly naked. Though it may be more terrifying seeing some ppl travel in the nude. But to make someone turn a t-shirt inside out shows no limits to the new heights of stupidity in the name of so called security.

How about this one then?If this isn't a direct attack on our libertys and Freedoms then i don't know what is?

Aussie Man Wearing Anti-Bush T-Shirt Not Allowed To Board Flight

An Australian man was denied permission to board a connecting flight within Australia unless he removed the T-shirt titled "World's #1 Terrorist" with a picture of U.S. President George W. Bush.

The incident occurred on December 2 when Allen Jasson, who lives in London, was stopped by security personals at an airport while he was en route to meet his family. He was at the terminal hoping to catch a connecting flight from Adelaide to Melbourne when his ordeal began.

According to ANI, Jasson was first stopped at London's Heathrow Airport and forced to remove the T-shirt because it caused "security problem in light of the present situation."

He faced a similar situation at the Adelaide Airport and felt that both incidents were attempts to prevent him from exercising his freedom of expression of his feelings.

"I told her I had the right to express my opinion. I felt I had made my point and caved in," Jasson said.

However, the Aussie passenger wore his Bush T-Shirt again but was yet again banned from boarding a subsequent connecting flight.

"It was argued other passengers could be offended. I said it was most offensive that I would be prevented from expressing my political views," said the Aussie traveler.

However, a Virgin Blue spokeswoman said "Most people use common sense and don't go out of their way to offend people."

Yes but how many of those would you be allowed to wear "Freely"without any objection?

For example would i be alllowed to board a plane to the U.S wearing a T-Shirt that says AMERICA IS THE NO:1 TERRORIST? ..I think not!

i doubt you would be allowed to fly into the us with a t shirt like that on. though i doubt you could fly into iran or a middle eastern country saying muslims are terrorists.

Correct me if im wrong but America is the one who boasts about freedom of expression!

Why would a country that makes such a big issue about freedoms and liberty let a simple thing like a T-shirt bother them?

There was talk a while back about Airlines considering Nude flights due to the terror threat so that passengers don't have a chance of concealing any weapons or hazardous materials!

Although on some routes naked flights are already in service, could provide the link but can't due to the obvious content!
