I was - I have to do a week of nights (3 or 4 nights) once a month on average, looks like this week is my week for it!
I don't mind the nights so much, I just don't like trying to sleep during the day, also the 'routine' of nights I don't like - basically get up, have about an hour to yourself before you have to get something to eat then it's time to get ready for work again and off you go! So nights are a bit of a love/hate thing with me!

When I used to work at Wendy's in 1991, being the youngest manager (hierarchy) (guy) in the group I was assigned in the graveyard-shift . . . 11 pm till 7 am ! I remember during the time I was about to leave work (morning) and sees the peeps around just about to go to their offices ... it made me really sad. While at night (10 pm) when I am about to go to the office, the people around me are on their way . . . home . . . but what I noticed having that kind of sked from then till now is that, I can work anytime I wanted to . . . and 
at my pace as well . . .

I'm currently on days, though no doubt will have some more nights next month at some stage!
I quite like nights though I don't like what they do to your body clock and sleeping during the day's a bugger!

If only this thread had been around back when I was on night duty back in the army. Heh... Would have been entertaining with great company. Now that I'm back in school, no more late nights for me. At least I hope.
To all of you who are doing the night shift, hang in there! Personally I like doing night shifts though. It's so quiet and peaceful, unlike the hustle and bustle in the day.

I am the nightshift king. Not by profession, by choice. I used to sit up almost every night and play guitar. With work i try to get in bed earlier now. Weekens i still stay up late. It is 2 am now and i am sitting outside, my friends left an hour or so ago. The neighbours put up their music very loud and it is annoying. You know it is loud when your property is 30to40 metres wide, the house next door is that far, and you can hear the song clearly. I need a flashbang grenade. Throw it through the window and solve this little problem:)

Well I just got home after a fall out with mates and a walk of 4 miles! I am now sat in my mums car as I cant get in and thankfully it was unlocked! Luckily I took my laptop with me to my mates (although I had to bring it back!) and now I am browsing over my home wifi network!

Ahh Night Shift!! Been doing these for last couple of weeks and it really has messed up my brain.
I get back from work around 7am then fall asleep around 8/9 then wake up 7 in the evening as soon as I get up its dark or should I say looks like early morning again. Couple of times I got up looked at the clock it said 7am went to the toilet realised nobody is home and I got scared. Im like where the heck has everybody gone at 7am!!! I thought they got kidnapped or summing!
This is my last week of night shifts then hopefully back to normal just like humans.

I've not had any night shifts for a while, though I think I've got a couple of months of them coming up March/April time! At least it gets them out the way pretty quick.
Know what you mean rule breaker, night shifts can really mess about with your system! And that time from about 3am to 5am is the worst for me, you feel like your the only ones up, the outside world is pretty much dead and your body clock's at it's lowest ebb. Horrible!

My night shifts have ended however my body is still carrying on with the same routine. Its 5am and I cant get any sleep, I should feel a little more sleepy by 8 am but I'm planning not to sleep at all till night time so I could get back in to the habit of sleeping at night.

Shame I wasn't doing my night last night, as the clocks went forward last night in the UK, would've meant a shift one hour shorter than usual!

Got a N73,K550i and unlocked 6680 arriving in morning and stupid postman turns up at anytime!
