Well, this is the first of three night for me, not usually on them, so just wondering, anyone else out there that's on nights at the moment, or pulling an all-nighter to finish coursework/homework/projects etc.?

I usually work days, so I'm hoping I won't be falling asleep by 2am!

Let's all support each other through the small hours!

Posted by fatreg
india will be awake soon sammy_boy..

wooohoo you can entertain Jn with pron all night long!!

have fun

fatreg

Posted by axxxr
yeh i'll be up for most of night, have reports from work to finish off plus some regular news work here to sort out!

So i'll be giving you company if you want me that is?

Posted by Sammy_boy
Yep, all company is welcome!

Sadly Fatreg a lot a sites here at work are blocked, so can't keep JN 'occupied' with pron at all, I'll just have to PM him some dodgy website links or something!

Posted by axxxr
Did you say dodgy website links?...I'm your man for that!

Give JoJo any kind Pron and he'll be happy as long as it involves girls and nothing else!

Posted by Sammy_boy
I though he once expressed a liking for pron involving chihouwas?

Yes ax, I believe that's what the 'xxx' in your user id stands for isn't it!

Posted by axxxr
don't you mean chihuahua's? .....are you having me on or what?

He once offered to send me dvd's of some of his dvd collection....don't think it had any chihuahua's though!

Yep thats what the XXX means!

Posted by Sammy_boy
My earliest chance for bed will be 8am and I'll be ready for it!

Though there's a few staffing problems tomorrow morning, so I damn well hope I won't be delayed in going home, I'll be fit to drop by that time

sorry to hear you're all by yourself miss uk! Looks like i've got some female company here too now!

Why are you off work, on holiday or sick? I wish I wasn't here, I have a bit of a love hate relationships with nights. I love the tranquil-ness of them and the quiet (usually!), no phones ringing or problems to deal with though hate my body clock being messed about with so much

Posted by Sammy_boy
Come work for us miss uk, we need carers, especially on nights!

Sorry to hear about your job, I hope you get something else soon, sounds like the agency you're with is sorting something out

Posted by Miss UK
I doubt I could hack that kinda job,
lastime i worked for a eldary couple I became really close to them and then the guy passes away, it's too painful and upsetting those kind of jobs

The agency seem good to find me work but will they before next week lol
im going to Berlin end of this month and I need to get all the cash for that sorted... well just spending money that is everythings paid for
otherwise

Has Fatreg gone to bed?
im starting to get sleepy too

Posted by Sammy_boy
Looks like it's just thee and me at the moment, think axxxr's away trawling the 'net for nuggets of news.

It's not that kind of job as such, it's the mental health side, patients on my ward do die but not that frequently. You just get sworn at and called names rather a lot!

You can't feel sleepy yet, it's only just past 1am! The night's young, and I've got another 6 hours to go yet

Posted by axxxr
Yeh i was ..plus some reports to type up aswell...unfortunately had to be done..but im around not to worry!

damm office work never ends....always something to do!

gotta win the lottery so i can live a life of luxury and no work!

Yes, a lottery win would be nice, solve a lot of problems!

It's getting towards that 'dead' part of the night I don't like working through, from 2-5am, think the body clock's at it's all time low at this time, I'll be glad when I'm through it!

Eheeeeeeeeeeeeem . . . looks like I've been seein' my 'name' here matey

This thread just bring back memories . . . when I frequent the Esato Forums from 12 midnight till 7-8 am the following day That was in 2003-2004 . . .

Yeah, Samboy - Chihuahua I've advised ECS back then to 'try' betting on the lottery (as it gave me some luck years back . . . . enough amount to buy company !) Who knows mate . . . try your luck !

@Miss UK(elele) - That German pups was just a 'joke' of course . . . I would rather like to have 'you' than those pups . . . maybe what I am feeling for you now is what they call - Puppy Love or was that Doberman Love

Thanks for the input too - Axxxr & Fatreg !

Posted by Sammy_boy
Evening Jojo, thought you might find your ears burning!

Hope you're well, I'll be here till about 8ish in the morning as that's when my shift ends and I'll be back home! Would probably have one last check here before turning in just to unwind a bit.

Posted by *Jojo*
@samboy - Yeah . . . all is well mate ! So, till when are you gonna have this kind of sked in the office pal Do you have (covered) by the company's - Night Differential Pay ?

Posted by Sammy_boy
Think I get a bit extra, struggling to stay awake now!

Posted by *Jojo*
@samboy - You'll get USEDto it I tell you . . . what I just made notice was that . . . after been in that kind of sked for about 2.5 years (daily) . . . I can manage to sleep at ANY TIME I want to afterwards that will be a nice experience I tell you dude . . .

The technique is . . . try to EAT some chips, so you won't get

Posted by axxxr
Chips?...are you sure?..first time i've heard that chippies can keep u awake!

I stick to red bull or coffee..always works for me!

Posted by Sammy_boy
Chips keep you awake? I would have thought a food like that would've put you to sleep!

I think a coffee is going to be my next port of call...

@jojo - what's a 'sked'? does it mean situation?

Posted by axxxr
I think JoJo means schedule!

Posted by *Jojo*
@axxxr - Back then . . . it's mostly Donuts, Potato Chips, Pansit, Siopao,Cheeseburgers, Fries,Milk Shakes and Sodas that does the overnight thing for me while browsing the Esato Forums. I don't drink coffee and alcoholic bevs at that . . . no smoking too! Just Pron DVDs !

Posted by Residentevil
No night shift for me. Worked a summer job from 14.30 to 22.30 once. No biggy tho.

Posted by *Jojo*
@samboy - Yeah, Axxxr is correct . . . 'sked' = schedule mate !

@residing - That's what you call - Mid/Night Shift at my end . . . after the 7am to 4 pm - Morning Shift, then the Graveyard Shift is from 11 pm till 7 am (following day) . . . .

Posted by Sammy_boy
I'm guessing it's a 'good evening' to you residentevil! It's nearly 4am here in the UK, the dead hours as I call it as very few people seem to be up at that time!

Posted by Sammy_boy
Looks like everyone's left me now and gone to bed!

Bet though I'll be getting the 'early birds' soon!

Posted by Sammy_boy
Phew! Back home now, about to got to bed, one down two to go! Same time tonight?

Posted by Sammy_boy
Well, here I am again, second of third nights! Hope it's a settled night!

Posted by Miss UK
here I am again... nearly time to vanish to bed

Posted by *Jojo*
Samboy's OUT when I was about to accompany him here

Posted by Sammy_boy
Still floating about at the moment! Still got another 5 or so hours to go yet

Hello and goodbye miss uk, sleep well!

I'll hopefully sleep better tomorrow than I did today, I think the world and his wife came to the door whilst I was trying to get some sleep!

Posted by *Jojo*
@samboy - So, do you still have work on weekends mate If so, still have the same - shift?

Posted by Sammy_boy
Sometimes have to work weekends, there's no set pattern to my shifts, so it's a rather chaotic existence at times! Makes spending time with the other half tricky too, as she works shifts as well.

Not to mention trying to catch up with friends who work a usual 9-5 mon-fri job, tricky to say the least!

Posted by *Jojo*
@samboy - With that kind of sked- erratic . . . be prepared that you won't even gonna see your dog playin' : 'catch-the-bone-peewee' . . . I wonder if you still manages to see your wifey if she has erratic skeds too

Posted by Miss UK
Sammy is ur gf working days plus nites? In my last job that I was made redundant or whateva they did shifts 1wk 6am till 1.30 then 1.30 till 9pm, there was a couple who had a daughter and the hrs seemed to fit there lifestyle ok.. Anyhows nite nite sorry to brag hehe

@miss uk - Check PM, thanks!

Posted by Sammy_boy
It seems to have been badly times at the moment, she's on long days (8.00 - 21.30) whilst I'm on nights 2045-0730 so we miss each other completely, not quite so bad whilst I'm on days.

We usually manage to see each other normally, though we have to be careful that the humdrum daily grind of life doesn't get us down, when we do get time together we tend not to do much!

Posted by *Jojo*
@samboy - Correct me if I'm wrong mate . . . but I am seeing a bigger pic that shows . . . you had longer times together with your wife (now) when you are still both - going steady, compared to being wed at present - right?

Posted by Sammy_boy
Still spending a fair time together, though perhaps we spent more 'quality' time together before we moved in!

Posted by Sir-SonyEricsson-man
Still up 4 am in the morning here.. but of the bed now

Posted by *Jojo*
@Samboy - Yeah . . . that's just how I see it mate . . .

@ man - Good Morning !

Posted by Sammy_boy
I'll be here till just past 8am probably!

Nearly 3.30am local time, the 'dead' hours which I hate!

Posted by *Jojo*
@samboy - Still got 4.5 hors to kill pal Do you do paperworks on your shift or purely operational?

Posted by Sammy_boy
Will probably start the paperwork in an hour or so's time! As didn't sleep too well yesterday just want to go home!

Damn, it's quiet on here tonight, think even Axxxr's tucked up in bed!
