Just recently got Core Player V1.1.2 on my N80 and its great,supports nearly every video and music format i put on my phone.
Lol @ Miss UK, you only noticed that feature now? Wasn't it in your N95 as wel? It pronounces some words in a very funny way,like when my Mom calls it plays the ringtone for a bit then says "MOUM" lol!
Im wondering if i should upgrade to N95, N95-8GB or N82 (if it is announced) when my contract upgrade comes in May lol!

I couldn't use my ex-N95 cos it was locked on T-Mobile nd I couldn't stick my 02 sim in it lol so didn't get any phonecalls to it
it was a shock didn't know till my mate set it up for me n I was like WTF lmao!
these N series are so kewl btw...
im coming up to either ditching 02 or trying to get a good deal either way if I go for sim only plan ive got my N80 but if I can get a good deal i'll try and blag a freebie phone off them too

Yes its better than Smart Movie @ Boba, it plays a lot more formats, its a great app,just takes some playing around with the settings.

seems avi format isnt the best for core player, smartmovie palys it fine, but with core its weird, pic and sound arent synced and all those settings are a bit confused...

Hi Everyone
Im a bit annoyed with something in my N80, when i have a dark theme,or a black theme i cant see what im writting in Java apps like Opera Mini, or MXit the font colour stays black and doesn't change with the Theme, is there any Theme editing software that allows me to change the font colour in my installed themes? Or is there a way to change the font colour in Java apps with in the phone? Thanx.

it also annoyed me at some thms, that the fonts wasnt visibel, at opera mini or when u wanted to put a symbol, so dont really get, if sy is making a thm, why dont the one check it...

Yep it doesn't make sense why its like that, i dont think the Theme makers take into account how the theme is when you use a Java app, i wish Nokia had just added an option to change font Colour in a theme.

Hi all,
This is down to the theme maker although some apps have more problems then others, i can't comment on Java apps as i don't use any but Pearl Black, Reflection's Glass and Nokia's new N series Theme by P@caso all work well and don't suffer from this problem whilst others i have used did.

When I do a search its asking to turn on Bluetooth.
I take it the N80 hasn't got GPS built in like the N95 has it

miss, when u choose what to paste, its happens the same in e theo, like on pc, so the gallery will be opened ( in the fone ) and u can choose, what u wanna upload.

yes, cos n80 has no internal gps receiver, so it search for the external one.

Ive uploaded some pics here straight from my N80 using either Web (Safari Browser) or Opera8.65 ,all you need to do is click on Attach Picture then in that page it takes you to click on the rectangular box which should allow you to browse your phone for what you want upload then click on it and click on Upload and it will upload the pic after that it will give a link of the picture to paste in your message.all you need to do is Hold down the Pencil key and the same time click down on navi pad that should highlight the link and it will say Copy at the bottom of the screen,click that and then go back to your message and click the pencil key and click paste and VOILA!! Its pretty simple and fast.
Hmmm. . . .hopefully that N95-8GB is my next phone. My upgrade is only in May '08 so that gives it time for the price to become A Lot more reasonable.
what sux is that my network (Vodacom) are with Vodafone UK which means the phone will be branded! agh well i dont mind.

the built in editor is really good imo, works perfect in e60 too ( luckily it works in that too, after i installed it from nokia site ), event my one doesnt even have a cam. useful when i send sometimes pix and have to edit it before

i just test an n80, seems to be ok. the radioisnt the best, had to make twice master reset, cos got usually 2g instead of 3g, now it seems to be ok.

Miss UK does your N80 EVER find EDGE? Mine seems not to find EDGE even in an Area where theres EDGE, my friend's N73 (who is on the same network as me) finds EDGE with no problem at school but i cant find EDGE when im at the same position as him. Or does the N80 not display EDGE symbol?
