ive had a look at it but I can't find a satlelite for GPS in my area either that or it's taking far to long to connect to one

Hi Boba,
I always install all my apps into the phone memory especially when there is so much of it, IMO it makes the device run smoother and faster than if installed on to either a card or mass memory. Also i never seem to have some of the problems that those that install to those do.

Do you have the slider open and are you outside where you can see the sky? as you really shouldn't be having that much difficulty getting a Satellite lock.

Yes defiantly IMO and as the Mass memory seems to access much slower than a memory card i would defiantly advise installing all your apps into the phone memory. Try it and see if it's faster or not i believe it will be.

not sure if its the wifi... watching movies is awesome on the bigscreen, however u have to watch a good converted hq quality in at lesat 320*186 format, 320*240 is very rare

Great to hear that N95-8GB is getting a new FW with more features, but i can't help but wonder if NOKIA have forgotten their OTHER "Next Episode" product the Ngage "Flagship" N81. Its 1st and ONLY FW update was released in late November'07. 5months down the line and V11.0.045 is still the latest FW, i was expecting a lot of support from NOKIA for their 1st S60v3 Gaming Device yet the only thing we've had is Ngage First Access which ended late last week. Im loving my N81 but it realy is in need of a FW update, it's not terribly buggy but it has some annoying bugs INCLUDING in some Ngage games. Has anyone heard any word on an upcoming FW update for N81? Or if it is even going to get one?

Im not really that intrested in that N-Gage feature,
I ran it earlier and it kept coming up asking for Username and Password for some download I take it you have to join online then..
not really miffed bout the games,
would love a compatable Tetris game though,
used to love that on my 6280

My N81 is up to date with the latest FW, what im saying is that in general all up to date N81s are running V11.0.045 which has been around for now just over 5months and yet NOKIA has not released another one, but are releasing a lot for N95, N95-8gb, N73 and N82.

I don't like the design neither Boba,
it looks cheap and tasteful!
What I don't get is use the N81 design to continue the 90 series
Gucci, Perhaps N81's have better stability then the more powerful phones,
yet hence they focus on them last !

Boba, have u used the Podcast application?
it's pretty good just enter "Dance" and it comes up with Charts and stuff and saves it on the phone
the phone also downloads of sites ok for CD's/MP3s too tried all that over the weekend

lol bobba, took me 2 months to figure out how to flash the k800, and dont get me wrong i made that phone goooooooood, so far the camera drivers makes the k800 take much better low light pictures than my n82

memory card, asphalt 3 3d, really laggy which is weird considering what this phone is capable of,... but the weird part is its not a consistant lag, every couple seconds or so..

asphalt 3d runs perfect in faster fones, with better processor. n80 is a bit outdated for that. howvere i played that game with e60, its wsa ok for me

N80 is a good phone,
my pals just sold his dead cheap and it was better conditionthen mine and 11 months old from 3..
he got £65 delivered for it and I got £86 delivered for mine
