Anyone on BT Broadband received their Hub Phone yet?

I got my Home Hub from BT about two months ago but they were out of the Hub Phone at the time. I have phoned several times chasing it but still havent got a date for delivery yet. i was wondering if anyone else had received theirs.

I'm in the same situation, no Hub Phone yet, but I have 2 DECT phone sent me for nothing! The 1st one came with the Hub as a free gift, cause they had this Hub Phone shortage. Then a couple of weeks later I've phoned them about the Hub Phone and they told me I'll receive one in 2 days. I was very happy till the postman came with an other free DECT! Now I have 2 DECT and no Hub Phone yet! BT is so... You know what I mean!

yeh im basically in the same position,still waiting for my Hub Phone.

im getting a bit annoyed now because its been over 2 months and still nothing...i also got the free dect phone but thats no good to me as i already have one.

i might actually make a phone call tomorrow morning and demand some answers.

I called BT this morning and have been told that the Hub Phones are now in stock and will be dispatched out to everyone within the next 10 days.

Apparantly the reason for the delay was a technical issue with the handsets.

So lets see now if we do actually recieve them on time as they have said.

Doesn't a 40Gb download limit scare people?

I really wanted to go on BT for the home hub, but the cap just killed it for me....

Free?...depends on what package your on?..you have to sign up to BT Option 3 and upgrade to the home hub package only then will you qualify for the hub phone.

I called them yesterday and was told that i would receive an email 10 days before the phone arrives. Still no email though.
I got the dect phone as well but only after i phoned to complain that i received my home hub but no phone, they didnt tell me it was out of stock when i signed up.

The homehub is basically a wireless router. the hub phone is a wireless voip phone that goes with the homehub.

NO ONE USE BRITISH TELECOM! THEY SUCK!!
I've been using BT Broadband for almost 3 years now or more and I've always had problems: connection dropping out, slow connection, unable to get a connection.

Unfortunatly I live outside of London and I am only able to get as high as T1

and when you call the help line they treat you as if you're n00b when they dont even know half the stuff your talk about.. they put you on hold and read through their little instruction manuals on their PC screens!!

If anyone already uses the new BT Broadband package, how is it?

Guess what? I've just received one this morning! They so stupid really! I've phone them up yesterday and they said they have nothing in stock and they never even had, but will start to ship them in about 2 weeks. Well, I must slept for 2 weeks then or been abducted by aliens, but now I have one with a 3rd DECT phone as well! LOL!
Anyway, it's very nice, but feels a bit cheap. Nevermind, at least it's free. I had no chance to play with it yet, cause it needs a 16 hours charge, but I'll let you know tomorrow how it performs.
In the meantime, take a look of the pics.

Order one thing then get three other random phones and then the original one you ordered. Hmmm, BT sound just great! Where do i sing up for all these free phones.

I have never had a problem with BT until this minor supply problem. I have never had a dropped signal or anything. They also said that I could get a maximum of 4.5MB/s but I actually have 7.6MB/s. Cool

I've never had an issues with BT either....i've been with a lot of broadband/phone suppliers over the years and most of them had problems one kind or another but BT has always been consistant..customer service is excellent aswell.

Damn.. thats alot, you live in Dorset tho, I live in Surrey and the closest station is in London which is why I can only get up to 1 Meg.

lol imagine if broadband in the UK had some sort of bug and we had to go back to 56k modem, that would be so mental.. last time i had 56k was when I through my PC on the floor, it took like half an hr for a page 2 properly load up and like 3 days 2 download a movie

I still have not got it! I was originally told it would be 4-6 weeks but I have now waited 10 weeks. When i call them they say they will call me back within 12 hours but they never do. I still dont know when it will arrive.
For a communications company they dont seem to know how to communicate.

After i made a call to the last time i finally recieved mine last week.

All i can say is just keep chasing them up and if you have to threaten them with legal action.

Had a call on thursday saying they were sending my Hub Phone beginning of this week. I received a package from BT this morning, but it was a normal cordless phone and a letter saying that there is a delay of 6-8 weeks! AAARRRGGGHHH. What d i have to do to get my hub phone?
I phoned bt and had a go at them, I have been promised a call tomorrow to say when it will arive.
Originally I was told it would be 4-6 weeks and it has now been over 11 weeks.

Now i am confused and annoyed. Apparently it was only put on my order last week even though i ordered it 11 weeks ago. They have promised me that i am at the front of the queue and should have it next week. If i dont then all hell will break loose as it appears they have been lieing to me for months.

Now the one that I was promised would be with me this week has turned out to be another free cordless phone (thats 3). They claim that it will now arrive in another 6 to 8 weeks as all the hub phones already supplied have been faulty and all their stock has to be remanufactured. She also said that they would send me one on monday? (is it six weeks or 6 days now?
I have never experienced such a bad company for communicating , both internally and with customers, as BT (what do they specialise in?).
