No, the A100 and D400 were the software platforms for which the K790/K800 were built from. It's just coincidental that they share the names of Samsung mobiles.
The E530 is a Samsung phone, but I believe, that if it's true, that it'll be the slider phone series for SE. And E530? The slider version of the Z530.

W610, more walkman phones, isn't that abit to soon, we got plenty of them out now, and more comming.

The information I heard was that there would be no more S series handsets. Whether that means there will be no more swivel handsets isn't clear though.

These are rubbish medium range phones.
When are SE going to release something to compete with the N93 or Z710.
It seems SE are reverting and not moing forward, releaseing too many in the middle models of rubbish phones and not enough high end ones.
Is the w900/p990 going to be the only phones in history for SE to be able to record above QCIF?

get a verbal slapping from someone last year(roughly), because they weren't concentrating on low/mid end handsets as much as mid/high end ones??
I could be wrong, but I'm sure this is why this year's handset range is split the way it is!

Well if thats the case then they will only slump behind Nokia and even Samsung for that matter.
Its ludicrous how the k800 (SE highest imaging phone) only has QCIF video whilst even the mid range 6233 has VGA video.
I hope SE hope to launch a high end phone with not only good pictures but also video.

Well I was right. The phones (at least one) do exist, and I suspect that the E530 will be anounced in the near future, maybe at 3GSM tomorrow. I still think that it'll be a slider, as there is no series for sliders yet.

Could be a platform I guess. The A100 and D400 are platforms for the K800 (3G) and K790 (2G) respectively, and those were the upgraded platforms for the K750 menu system. It could mean that the E530 is a totally new platform from SE, which is what Eldar has hinted on before. Maybe...
