If you split up on bad terms then - no! She'll think you're taking the p**s.

If you're still good friends then - yes! It won't hurt at all.

Unless...

She's now seeing somebody else, in which case it might cause problems if said somebody sees it. That wouldn't bother you personally at all but if you might want to get back together with her at some point, she might resent you for it if it does cause any trouble.

yes, of course you do

when you've been that close to someone you don't just forget them as soon as its over, unless you really didn't value the relationship that much in the first place

when I broke up with my ex about 4 days before her bday I still gave her the present I got for her (rather expensive white gold heart shaped locket studed with some diamonds) and a dvd although I cant quite remember but I think I forgot to get her a card lol

@luke - With a GIFT that expensive . . . I guess you won't be needin' a Bday card anymore - SMS will do . . .

@fat - The situation is kinda delicate dude . . . it's NOT if you ended up in BAD/GOOD terms . . . 'but' . . . . giving a sign like that will 'might' mean 'differently' on her part, she might thinks that she's OBLIGED to treat you on her special day . . . . kidding aside, she might get the notion that you want her back or what Good Luck ! Maybe a firmware upgrade will do
