any luck mate?

As far as I know, the only thing that cold temperatures can do to the battery is shorten the battery life (not permanently) quite severely. That's in places like the snow though.

must be so sweet, no cleaing up or washing stuff, just bung it on the street and let it melt away

to make the ice they have to freze it (well duh) but also shake it at the same time to remove the air making it clear.

Very clever

or you could just use hot water...

Freezing hot water makes it clear.

Posted by Luke-the-magic-man
really? I think il try that do you mean freshly boiled water?

I knwo that crystal clear ice can only be made using the process I mentioned before, all the ice sculpture people use it

Posted by amnesia
You can indeed do it the way I mentioned.

Do this, get an Ice cube tray, fill half with normal water or cold water, half with hot water.

Put it in the freezer. The hot will be clear as.. clear as ice!

il try that lol, just wondering but why do ice sculpures do i the other way? Surely your way is much cheaper and easier?

Posted by fatreg
heating stuff up in cold situations is possiboly not the easiest thing to do.....

fatreg

yeh, but in the sculptures woek place thing then they have warm places to, not all of is cold lol
