Hello All,
This is my first attempt to create a transformation pack of windows vista. All my regards to mufcthereligion as he created the first mac os transformation packand he is my great inspiration.Many thanks to Darkmen as well for creating the great application Far manager.And lastly thanks to all those people who are creating some great menus to rock sony ericsson
Anyways I used the menu.ml from mac os transformation pack and created the vista pack.I have named it version 1.0 as a lot more stuff has to be done on it and will be doing it in future.
Version 1.0 includes
Custom menu based on windows vista .
Three themes of windows vista
startup and shutdown screen (not so good)
Finally the layout.xml to remove scroll bars (I downloaded from some site it has cool fonts as well)
Many more has to come

As this is my first attempt please forgive for any mistakes and i tested on my k750 and it rocks.

I am now working on the Windows Vista Transformation Pack 2.0 and sooner I will release it its weekend and I am doing all the stuff to make this pack a big bang.
It will include
1.Animated startup and shutdown screens.
2.Included splash screen as well
3.Menu Icons changed a bit.
4.Including screensavers
5.Adding startup sound and shutdown sound.
If any of u guys feel that there should be some more add ons Please lemme know.Anyhow enjoy the Version 1.0.

I will soon release the Vista transformation Pack 2.0 which I am sure is gonna rock.
I have included

4.Startup and shutdown sound based on Windows Vista.
5.Added icons under connectivity menu where there are no icons.
6.Menu Icons changed and the size is looking better.
I am much obliged that u gave a honest feedback atleast u can give atry to this new menu it looks cool honestly,it inludes all different icons for message menu as well anyways which theme u r using.

The one thing I liked in this first version (by looking at it in here, I haven't actually tried it on my phone) is the third theme you posted.
Can you host it for us, please? The theme, I mean.
And @ Quickshare... what combination of theme + menu are you using currently?
And by the way, very nice pics you got on the cam driver topic =]

And I thought that some people do like opeartor logo thats why I didnt deleted it from the layout anyways u can delete it and use as its fonts are very cool just like k800.

Guys Please leave ur feedback about the Vista Pack 1.0 as it will help to take out the flaws if any in the Vista Transformation Pack 2.0.How did u like the vista 1.0 keep posting and keep this thread alive.
If anyone can put some more screen shots or put a live video of the menu working on their it would me much appreciated as i dont have a second camera.Please

Tosin.... the Windows_Vista Theme looks nice but there is a thing u can improve...
as u can see in the picture preview u posted earlier.. the the transparent black strap with the Walkman logo on... it should be more thicker... lets take the battery indicator as an example... the margin between the top of the battery indicator and the top on the screen should be the same as the bottom of the battery indicator and the bottom of the black transparent strap....
hope u can fix it... or send a link to the fixed one...

hi tosin.... actually i did like the transparent strap part with the logo on it.... this one is good as well.... i am looking forward for version 2.... thanks a bunch... i have changed the menus already.. looks like laptop sidekick....lol.... GREAT!!!

Thanks mate for the appreciation a lot.I also guess that the logo of walk man was more good anyways I will make that one as u told me to and include in the version 2.
Sooner I am going to release it.Its almost done I will go to the office today borrow my friends cam and grab some pics of the Vista pack 2 and post it.

If you didn't see my post on the SE-NSE forum then i will write it here, i think you should try making the icons 45 x 35 unselected and 50 x 50 selectedi think it would look better.

No problems I know that the icons are somehow big In my second pack u will see the difference as the icosn are much more simplified know and also when u hit menu it seems like it drops from the top of the screen it looks animated quite good

Look cool, could i also suggest using the real vista icons like internet exlorer for the internet. Also i quite like the layout the mufcthereligion did on the menu so there is no playnow and have bluetooth instead, wot do u think, would you be up for doing that? Becuase playnow is crap, i have never used it.

Ok cool, so what have icons have you got on the menu? Also i like the idea of the bluetooth instead of calls on the main menu like on the mac os x transformation pack. Reason for this being is that calls is the left softkey.

Yes I would be renaming the menu according to Windows.and yes we do have the connectivity icon instead of calls icon
Just trying to finish it out soon so all of us can enjoy the new pack

if the theme is designed for K750.. then it wont work on other models of course which has larger display.. like K800...
and also... we still cannot hook CID49 phones on FAR manager.. thats why its impossible to apply these modifications on a K800..
