I would have to recommend Loreal Techniart a-head

-No sticky white stuff in your hair
-Re-stylable if ever your hair gets wet
-Strong hold, but not stiff/hard at all
-It's nice

The only bad thing, is that it's very hard to find...I think it's only available at hair salons...Quite expensive too...

"Fish" Clay.

I use that, find it in Boots for a fiver.

When my hairs short I use bed head manipulator, pick it up in toni&guy about £12 for a 30ml.

Always completely dry your hair first before you put it in... and you'd only need small layer on your finger of the stuff... that'll be plenty.

Posted by rule_breaker
Ye I've used the 'Bed Head' and it lasts for ages

Today I bought VO5 Texturising Gum and Matt Clay. They were buy 1 get 1 Free

Posted by kk.226
Haha same here, bought 2 matt finish clays... gonna try them now... *loves a bargain*

From boots?

Posted by rule_breaker
Yup Boots It is but I spent another £8 on useless stuff that I never needed!

Interesting how these big stores manage to make money even after offers such as buy one get one free

i use something called Matte Shaper. Its sort of like a cream product. Its the best ive used out of all the hair products, i cant stand wax or gel or fude. Its around $18 (australian $)

Yup!

The Techniart range are excellent...

Any more inputs, guys?? Thanks........

Posted by fairygirl1
Black and White!! Good hold, not sticky, not gluey when you run your hands through it, and washes out straight away.

Not ever used it myself, but ran my hands through it on someone daily for a long time, before he went bald.......

hmmmm maybe b&w not so good then?????!!!

@Fairygirl

Reckon if you rub my head my hair might grow back?

Posted by fairygirl1
Hmmmm, doubt it somehow!!! Maybe we should try it?

Posted by fatreg
if its an out and out wax your after.. i find crayola do a nice range..

on the other hand, Dax short and neat is good.

i tend to go for a lil gel though. Schwarzkopf do a cool power gel xtreme.

holds my hair in whatever position i want it..

Any hair style reccomedations using your wax people? I need some ideas before I visti the hairdressers

Cheers

Posted by fairygirl1
If you hair is quite long (as in can do something with it) then I personally think the "messy spikey / just got out of bed after a good night" is the best look.

Posted by SE Rules
Well problem is, I've tried to let my hair grow long, but instead it just gets thick and bushy and it really annoys me, so I can't get that indie look that I'm after....

Any ideas?

Cheers

PS Soz if this gets a bit gay! lol

Posted by fairygirl1
Go to a decent hairdresser and ask for it to be thinned out, but using scissors not razor cutting, then you can have the indie look you want, it needs to be thinned before you can do anything with it, otherwise it will grow out instead of down!!

Dont let them razor cut it as that makes thick hair even worse!

Posted by siamese plantpot
on the product thing i reccoment wax. i think clay is the best but its expensive. and always use a really small amount of it, so it doesnt just clump up. =]

Posted by fairygirl1
yeah, you can always add but you cant take away!

Posted by top_lad
HI IV GOT MED LENGTH HAIR I USALY HAVE IT SHORT N SPIKEY BUT ITS GROWN A BIT LONGER N I WANT IT SORT OF NATURAL LOOK MAYB A BIT SURF STYLE COZ MY HAIR GROWS SO FAST N I CANT BE BOTHERED WITH THE BARBERS EVERY OTHER WEEKEND! I USED TO USE V05 rework but its a bit clammy n makes my hair look dead not colour atall its best for short spikey hair!!!

What should i use more of a cream?
