MP3 problems with the Samsung E900

Have tried to download my mp3s to my new samsung E900 via my pc, using the samsung pc studio. My problem is that they play but with no sound? Is this a licencing problem or is there a way round this? I bought this phone for the mp3 access and am getting frustrated that it isn't working!
Anyone help???
