what does your mate say to my offer? Also has it been dropped or water damaged?

Posted by spikeyjac
no it was downgraded then 3 weeks later it went off ? :S
its japanese and i dont know i havent spoken to him yet.
if we did have a deal how would it work as ive never sold on here b4?

Posted by Luke-the-magic-man
um asuming you had some referals I would send you money and then you send the item, if you did not have referals then its best for the seller to take COD - cash on delievery, but this is only the case if the buyer is well trusted.

I myself have over 1070 referals on here and ebay so am well trusted

Posted by spikeyjac
kk well i a have no referals on here but my step dad is a well trusted ebay member:
fm_john and how much would you pay and how ?

Posted by Luke-the-magic-man
currently id offer £35 delivered, can by by, paypal or cheque etc, almost any means although will not send cash in post

Posted by spikeyjac
ok and plz can u explain how tht would work

Posted by Luke-the-magic-man
what do you mean how that would work? You lost me there

Posted by spikeyjac
lol well i have no referals on here so what would i do would you pay and then i send or what?

Posted by Luke-the-magic-man
you send then Id pay, as I mentions before I have allot of referals

Posted by spikeyjac
ok well i would have to ask my friend.
and would you be able to do £40?
is comes with box, charger and thats it.
it is japanese
it was downgraded bout 3 weeks ago then yesterday just turned off.
when i try and turn it on nothing comes on on the memory stick lights and the power light is green then after a minute it turns off

Posted by Luke-the-magic-man
sounds like the circuit is shorted, possibly from the downgrade

Posted by spikeyjac
would you still buy it if my m8 sed ok?
except it was 3 weeks later that the psp went dodgy?

Posted by Luke-the-magic-man
it is possible even if it worked for a few weeks, but I am still interested

wasnt their an article about some virus on PSP where if you inadvertantly managed to put it on the device, doing stuff one probably shouldnt be, it basically turned it into a brick....truth or bollocks ?

actually it doesnt have a price for the fault, you have to call and get a quote and im guess that would be around 70 quid

Absolutely true!

It's called Trojan.PSPBrick and it's basically a spoof PSP mod that is supposed to allow you to run either your own home-grown programs or programs writen for other platforms on your PSP.

What it actually does is delete four essential system files that prevents the PSP from starting up at all. The only solution is to send it back to Sony for repair.

Which they'll charge you for! Sony refused to repair victims' PSPs for free because installing modifications voids the warranty, apparantly...
