Hi,

I recevied this phone yesterday and when I try to charge it up the red light on top keeps turning itself on and off. When I turned it on this morning, the phone had still not fully charged.

Am I right in thinking I've been supplied a faulty charger?

It could batt or charger bug, even fw or hw. Give a try for another batt and charger first.

when you check the phone status, does it tell you your battery did get charged up?

or is it that you havent been able to switch the phone on since you bought it?

It had some battery life - the icon in the top-right corner was around a 1/5 full - considering I had it charging over night though this doesn't seem right!

Will I need to get a new charger?

try another [known good] charger, if that doesnt work as well, send the phone back. it's too early to have problems like this, irregardless of whether it's a FW or HW issue.
