@voila.fred: How many networks, subscribers and what's coverage like in Mozambique?
Posted by viola.fred
Hi I was out for long and at moment Im at Durban till end November.
Its not easy to answer maybe i don't understand properly. But we got 2 networks (mCel - Mozambique Cellular and Vodacom).
mCel was the first one and by now they might have over 1,3 million clients.
Vodacom has started about 2,5 years and is introducing many innovations like MMS, Internet, email and more nationwise coverage.

Greetings from 9-ja
U forgot to tell us how many subs vodacom has...
Good luck on the new thread. Let's hope more ppl find esato thru voda's GPRS service eh?

Without any resources to check online, I'd hazard a guess and say mCell is the largest network.
Posted by viola.fred
I don't know how many subs each one have, but i'm sure mCel is the largest. If I ask they won't tell me.
Please go to www.vm.co.mz (vodacom) & www.mcel.co.z (mCel)
PS. I'm still using my W800i and still rocking, but I'm waiting for w850i to arrive at shops and i'll think about.
Thanks

Thats a surprise. The networks in Nigeria give out subscribe figs regularly. What are they hiding?
