They should send you a 3G sim free of charge.
As soon as you receive the sim card, ring them up and they will transfer your old number over onto the new 3G sim.

or quickest way....go to an o2 shop, they will do a sim swap, deactivate and reactivate your sim witin 24 hours. they charge £10 for a replacement, but if you call up customer sevices and explain they will credit your bill with £10
