the trailer isn't so much a trailer as a one-off publicity teaser. AFAIK the footage will not appear in the film itself.

Only problem with this movie is the director. I mean come on Michael Bay all he does is blow stuff and after seeing 4/5 of his movies and doing the same thing over and over, its kinda boring.
Movie does look good, I saw this on a different site where I mod and I can tell you that fans are being asked to submit dialogue which will be used in the movie.

I think I prefer the look of Optimus Prime in hte CGI test more than the one in the pictures, it better resembles the old school optimus. He's supposed to be some strict-ass leader, not some trucker with flames painted on him!

I dont really like the whole idea of modeling the robots from a comic looking character and trying to change/modify them into todays modern world.
For X-Men, Bryan Singer did a great job of applying its realistic costumes to fit in our today's world... coz like it says, it would looked goofy if they stick with the original costumes... honestly I dont really mind if the females wud stick to its original costumes..... hehehehe.....
But for Transformers, I think they went over board and what I looked at it its like, Transformers not in todays world of 2006, its more like 2080. I dont really like it, for this they shud have stick to its original design.

Can't say I'm raving about this tbh.
SO many things wrong with it, the only thing right now it has going for it is that Optimus is voiced by Peter Cullen (The original voice fo Optimus)

Is barricade a Helicoptor or Police car or both? the pictures of the boxed toys has barracade as a police car but the pics above have him as a helicoptor.

CGI links sorted. Have uploaded them to Esato now. Theres always a problem with TFW2005 image hosting for some reason.
The helecopter is called Blackout got the names mixed up. It was originally going to be called Incinerator.
