Missing SMS notification after firmware upgrade

I just upgraded my K750i a few days ago and now it has stopped notifying me of new text messages. If i hit the "shortcut menu button" or go into the Messages menu they appear as unread messages, but i dont get the normal "new message" sound or anything automaticly appearing in the display ...

I just did a new check today to see if there was any newer firmware out now, but I am still using the latest version.

Have anyone else had this happen after upgrading to the newest firmware ?
