Just got this text from Orange: Hi from Orange. If you use Orange World or mobile internet why not get unlimited access for £8/month. Just call 150. Min term & fair usage. See http://www.orange.co.uk/ow1 Does this mean the T-mobile Web'n'Walk offer has scared Orange into reducing their rates?

Terms & Conditions taken from the above link:-

Orange World Unlimited Bundle - terms and conditions The Offer is an Orange World Unlimited Bundle ("the Bundle") which is available to new and existing Orange customers with 3G phones on Panther & Premier tariffs ("Eligible Customers") until 1 September 2006. The Bundle provides Eligible Customers with unlimited WAP browsing on their 3G phones, subject to clause 3 below. Fair usage policy: To ensure the fair allocation of network resources for all customers the Bundle may not be used for: modem access for computers, internet based streaming services, voice or video over the internet, Instant Messaging, peer to peer file sharing and non Orange internet based video. If such use is detected, notice may be given and Network protection controls may be applied to all services which Orange does not believe constitute WAP browsing. This may result in a reduced speed of transmission, inability to use such services and, at the discretion of Orange, removal of the Bundle. The Bundle is subject to a monthly "subscription fee" of £8.Once the Bundle is applied to your account you will continue to receive the Bundle for the remainder of your contract period up to a maximum period of 18 months ("the Period").Should you no longer wish to receive the Bundle you will nonetheless remain liable for the subscription fee for the remainder of the Period. At the end of the Period you will automatically revert to a 10MB per month subscription or a subscription of your choice. The Bundle is for use within the UK only. You will be charged at your standard service plan rates for using your 3G phone abroad. The Bundle does not include event charges such as for ringtones or games (although transport costs for these events are included). If you choose to take the Bundle in conjunction with the 3G TRY offer you will remain liable for the subscription fee. For the avoidance of doubt the Orange World Unlimited Bundle is an Additional Service. Orange reserves the right to amend, vary, or cancel these terms and conditions or to withdraw the Offer on providing reasonable notice to you. In the event that your account is terminated for any reason, including, but not limited to non payment Orange reserves the right to refuse re-connection to the Offer. Service is subject to the Standard Terms and Conditions for the Supply of Orange Network Services, a copy of which can be found at the back of your Orange phone User Guide. Where there is any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions, and the Standard Terms and Conditions for the Supply of Orange Network Services, the latter will prevail.

Yeah that sounds worth it... not

"the Bundle may not be used for: modem access for computers, internet based streaming services, voice or video over the internet, Instant Messaging, peer to peer file sharing and non Orange internet based video."

What else is it for!

Also it appears to say Wap browsing not internet so does not seem to compete with what is on offer by T-Mobile.
