Hey pplz....i was wondering if anyone could tell me the price of W900 and P910...i know both of them are discontinued but i am looking to buy a used one with limited or no warrantee.....So anyone has any idea atleast what these sets would cost here in KHi?
Secondly i wanted to ask you guys....im confused on whether to buy K790 or wait for the P990 price to dip...i like the K790 but frankly speaking itz the same as my current K750 with just an improved camera n im not willing to pay 15k extra for tht..I know K790s price will also dip but i gess it will take a month or 2 more...same goes for P990 which mite take even more to dip...
Meanwhile i wanna get rid of my K750 as its joystick is the worst experience iv ever had on a mobile phone...i love the phone but this joystick sux sooo bad...as iv alwayz loved W900 coz of itz video capturing abilities and P910 cos of its smartphone features....i wanna buy one of them temporarily till the price of K790 or P990 falls...so which shud i go for?n which wud be cheaper n which wud b the more sensible buy....thanx

Can someone also tell me whether W850 has been or will be announced for Pakistan ? if im not mistaken the fone has already released in Europe n is a damn good fone.....SE recently announced almost the same fone as W830 for India and other Asia pacific regions....but i didnt find it on the PK site...anyone has any idea about this?

u dont have to worry about wether w850/830(i think thats the other number) is coming to pak or not..cuz if its a phone from a famous brand u WILL find it no matter if it has been officially released for pak or not...for example . k800..pakistan is only supposed to get k790 but we also have k800 available..so i think w850 and its edge version..both are gonna b available in pakland in about two weeks wid outrageous prices but u wait another two weeks and the prices will get better.

as i have said b4...its gon take about two weeks at least to come into stores ...so im not even gonna go to any store askin for w850 cuz i did dat wid k800/790 and dey use to look at my face and go uhhhhhhhhhhhhh...and scrathc there head a couple o times and den go uhhhhhh again and den say i dont kno wat it is ...

guyz..ive been thinkin about switchin to post paid since warid came out wid such great packages..but there is a problem ...i make international calls...and i dont wanna deposit 4000 rps. security..i mean flushin dat much money down the toilet seems better to me..is there a way around dat..and is there a monthly fee wid the post paid packages for gprs/mms usage like wid pre paid u have to pay around 60 rps. per month plus ur download/usage costs...

Warid no longer charge the prepaid customers Rs60/month for GPRS. I dont know if its the same for postpaid or not.

'sir u need to get to our head office for anything else' ..darn men ... wait for 10 mins in que to get to talk to a customer-support'officer' ...

wats up wid warids customer service...ive been callin em for like three or four days but havent been able to reach em...i dial 321 den press zero for an agent and den the lady says ur call is being transferred and den she directly says dat evrryone is buzy ..please try again later.

You'll be lucky if you get connected through your mobile. Try from the PTCL phone, it works from there.

i got a k790i but ufone just does not have any service center with some one who knows what to do to get gprs working on my k790i
i am thinking of switching to telenor with edge for k790i
and getting the new motofone and use the ufone sim on that for daily use.

doesnt ufone have automatic settings which they send to your number. also i think the settings for k790 are similar to k750. you can just ask them to send settings for k750. and telenor EDGE is limited to a few places. give warid a try

I use ufone and my father too. He also has a warid postpaid package but it is not used a lot. When I try to talk to a Warid cutomer services officer I usually get connected but I cant receive the MMS settings, I only receive the GPRS settings and sadly the GPRS does'nt work correctly. So I use ufone GPRS because I like its speed and opera mini also works with it. I also have free messaging on ufone.

and 'those guys' at warid picked up today...
well for the past week i would press zero and it would say plz wait ur call is being directed to a sales agent and then rite after dat it would say sorry all the sales agents are bzy plz try ur call later and then hang up...so none of the music would come on....and y dont they change dat track..mayb put on the radio or something..i mean aint dat gettin borin now...

Well, currently warid is not operatable in Satellite Town, Rawalpindi. There are absolutly no signals here.
