N90??

if you want to try nokia then probably something from the n series, like N80 (if you can bear with no autofocus),N90(if you want symbian os and a lot of other features, but the camera has only 2 mp),n91(music phone, only 2 mp) or n93 (the best)

maybe try something like n91/n80? for something a bit different? there isnt that much interesting out really, maybe wait for the n73 when that apears?

Id say get the K800. You may not be keen but it is almost like a W800 update considering it has the W800 Walkman Player on it along with flight mode etc.

What kind of budget you have? If its high, wait for the N93, its going to blow both SE and Samsung away!
But on the current ones, N90 seems like the most reasonable deal. N70 isnt special in any sence of the way, N71 is a N70 in slider, N80 has way too many issues(software bugs) and N91 is music oriented, but you have a W800 dont you?
N90 is an all in one phone with brilliant video, superb screen, decent camera, good audio quality, reasonably responsive Symbian.

can somebody give me more info on the n93, the reason i dont want to get the k800i because it is just like the w800 with a better camera.

the n93 is a generally good all rounder with a very good 3.2 megapixel camera but in comparison to the w800 you might as well carry your laptop and a camera around in your pocket

Good to know you're not considering the K800.
N93 is a powerhouse, it has everything imaginable. Huge screen. EDGE, 3G, WiFi, IrDA, Bluetooth 2.0, HTML Browser.
It comes with a 3.2 MP camera, Auto Focus, OPTICAL ZOOM(take that k800!), video quality never seen before VGA at 30 FPS.
UpNp technology which allows you to watch TV(i think). TV output, when the screen isnt enough. Video calling and an updated symbian.
Hard to imagine anyone with a big budget not getting a N93

Just wait a little longer until the almighty P990 comes out. You don't want to switch teams.

yeah, its also the size of a first generation 3g phone with a battery life of very very little
good phone though

Cant beat the N93 in terms of features, still.

You need to think about what type of phone you want. Theres no point comparing the N93 to a K800, they're just not the same. Most decent Nokias these days are smart phones, so they simply outclass
s in the comparisons people make, but thats what you'd expect. If he doesnt want a smart phone then other phones from Samsung, LG,
and Moto may be a good choice, but if you want a smart phone the size of a house brick then look at them instead of regular phones.

I agree, but LG?

Chocolate? They have some new phones coming into the market. I am trying to come in here with an open mind. Personally I would never have an LG and I am very biased towards
. I have tried many other brands (such as Nokia, Samsung, Sharp, Motorola) and they just dont do it for me.

@QVGA UpNp is not for watching tv,UpNp is universal plug andd play,so if you have smart electronics at home, which have bluetooth then the phone can connect to them

lol good one tehehe - i am going to be the envy of a new n80 buyer when i take my treo to school (erm...when i have case and everything
really - i think you need to tell us what you need in a phone - im not to fussy because if i have some feature, i'll probably use it - if i dont, then i wont - get it? - so do you need 3g, descent camera, joystick/dpad - what do you prefer...then i'll be able to help
if you want something 'different' then go for an old /// ericsson t18 =D they're cool =D - well...when i had my t20 there were loads of girls that came around me wanting it instead of there (shocked! ^o)) 3310s! argh i could build a bloody house with the amount of bloody 3310/3410s there were at my school! everyone has now gone over to a 'flip' phone - they are NOT flips - they are CLAMSHELLS! a flip is a phone like the good old t20, t18, t28, t36 (tehehe only because i have one =D) / t39 etc etc - im not sure whether nokia every made a REAL flip phone. but i get so annoyed with people who believe CLAMSHELLS with there HINGE are flips! argh! right sorry for off-topic mate - anyone who wants to debate either start a new topic or pm me =D

i just wany the best possible phone out with every feature possible, how big is the n93 compared to the w800i? i am soo anoyed with sony ericsson for not releasing a decent phone this year which is worth upgrading too, now i have to go back to nokia and i dont really want to.

then wait another year.
what about a P990i? although i'm not sure it will be out next month.
what about getting a K800 and selling it in a few months when the P990i comes out?
Posted by jagger2k
sorry i dont belive in selling phones, i think i might just cut my contract off and wait till i can get a decent phone with a free xbox 360 or somthing.

The N93 is 118 x 55.5 x 28.2 mm whilst the W800 is 100 x 46 x 20.5 mm. Basically you're looking at a brick which is 1cm wider, 2cm longer (and even more once it's open!) and almost 1cm thicker. To put that in perspective, it's bigger than the P990 which is only 1.5mm wider at 114 x 57 x 26 mm.
