I havent been using esato for more than a year now but about 90% of my posts will be from my p900. Cutting to the chase, im forever reconnecting to check if someone has posted so i was wondering if it is possible to do this: You can assign a mobile number to your account and when someone posts on a thread you started you are sent a small wap push message with the title of the thread plus a sample of the post as the message. If it is possibleto do, then you could set all the threads with a \"dont watch me\" tag unless the author changes it manually so it is watched. This should stop the authors of high volume threads being bombarded by wap push. Thanks for reading my idea (what do you think) and is it possible to do?

This can give rise to spamming.. And this service can't be given for free ...but a fee must be charged by the operators..

its probably possible to do but there is already a facility to be notified of posts on a thread you created
not sure if you have seen it but when you make the first post of a new topic, in the options box under where you type the text of your post is a checkbox you can tick for "Notify by email when replies are posted"

To stop spammers, only the author can see/change whether it is watched so spammers cant tell if it would be spammable. Spammers could also be reported and long term offenders could have their accounts deleted. To masseur: I would use the email notification feature but it isnt available when created on the wap site and my network provider doesnt work with any type of internet app except the built in browser and that includes email push (or whatever its called).
