with medditer custom pack .... and no differences between r8bc004 i don;t know about sound quality cuz i uploaded a mooded driver

Hello,
Having a problem with my K800i and new Nokia BH-600 i have just bought.
Problem is with voice dialling. Sometimes it works properly but most of the time i voice dial i hear the voicetag repeated from the headset but the k800i just goes to the main screen without actually dialling.
I've updated firmware to R1KG001 but no joy.

Anyone help please?

What you need is APAC_MAIN and APAC_FS. Use the both with same version for stability. Also need APAC customization which is provided if you use XS++3.1.

You can use other region firmware if you want but you may lost your language.

Edit: Firmware flash in SE is 3 parts. FS, MAIN, and customization file (most/not all is provided by XS++). Usually MAIN is generic unless some specialized firmware (branded) and CDA/region like APAC, HONGKONG, TAIWAN, etc all have own MAIN.
Both MAIN and FS should be the same version (eg both R1KG).
Customization should follow you FS (eg EUROPE5_FS need EUROPE5 customization).
You should check you old firmware and follow the same CDA (region).

and i want to ask is r8 is the latest fw??
y my pc detect my phone as k800i not k810i??
do i need to do something more??

Well do you notice anything is wrong with your phone? Usually APAC have APAC MAIN as well. But if you don't miss anything (language, etc) then I think it is OK. I guess APAC MAIN provide support for chinese simplified character.

What is your phone? If your phone is K800 then it will always identified as K800 regardless using K810 firmware.

I just flashed my K800 with R8BF003 main and fs, everything is OK, BUT my font is still Sony Sketch?!?!?
Before I used to have K810 firmware with this font, but it should be gone after flashing the main and the fs, right?!

Video preview has bug. If you have many big high quality video it could crash your phone. I guess there is no work around (maybe hardware limitation) hence SE decide to remove it on newer firmware!

Yes it is the same procedure, but you dont need to do the lighteffect step of course.

Nope you aint missing anything... last K800 firmware: R8BF003.
Maybe there isnt any known bugs left? And whats the point of fixing something that doesnt need to be fixed.

Well that is just a pure speculation from my part.. i dont know if there is any known bugs left.
All i know is that R8BF003 works like a glove on my K800!

I'm using R8BF003 too but normaly firmware updates are going fast and now there i'sn't any update or post since a week.

From what i have read it has better(newer?) sounddrivers, newer JAVA version & newer displaydriver.

R8BF003 firmware must be installed in latest K800i products because of hardware change in LCD unit implemented. I forgot where I read about it. On SETool website may be.

Well, I used this R8BF003 on my K800i ( had R1KG001 before.. ) GENERIC_WI as Main and C_ASIA as FS with CDA102568_101_R8A_GENERIC_APAC Cust-pack,
Works fine, no problem...

hai, i wanna flash my K800i to newest firmware i've heard. got my K800i installed with RIKG001 prgCXC1250214_CHINA_WI RIKG001 (dunno what's the mean), and cust files CDA12568_101_R6A_cxc_1250490_R1KG001_APAC

and i've downloaded these files:
K800_R8BF003_MAIN _GENERIC_WI_RED52
K800_R8BF003_FS_S_E_EUROPE_RED52
HB1-06_GENERIC_CDA102568_3_R4A_GENERIC_S_E_EUROPE

at last i flashed to R8BF003 Europe2 successfully, works fine and it's so nice nothing bad happen during and after the proccess... i see that there's differences from R1KG as the Java Version on R1KG is JP - 7.4 and on R8BF is JP - 7.7 and thats all i can say for now
