i was just looking at all the pics on here thinking about what a good job plank does and how vibrant all his pics are.

How do you get your pics to look so vibrant with the colours

guide for 4 simple steps (he he, just kidding)

¤ i very often use the "Daylight profile". makes the colors looks much better/real.

¤ hold the phone steady (or place on the ground or something)

¤ the whitness balance is the most important feature on a cell phone camera. (adjust the whitness with both joystick & profiles).

¤ never shoot against the light source/sun

ps. take several pics instead of just one (then select the ones you like)

here you see the different between Daylight and auto.

Daylight profile, (k810i on my hometown)

Auto

Daylight profile

Auto

These are a few good ones that I've taken. Daylight photos are great, but unfortunately most low-light pictures taken have significant noise and blurriness. I highly suggest using photoshop to use a weak noise reduction + smart sharpen filter on all of your K800i photos. Using ctrl+M can save a few pictures that are too dark, but generally you'll have to throw them away.

Excellent Pictures ppl. Keep it coming!!

Yes, it IS a strong red color on the building, however, the 3,2 MP isnt enough for all the small black windows.

The light sensor in k810i is much better than the one in N73.
I took the same shot indoor at night with flash with both, and N73 was way too dark..

Posted by rockygali
for the obvious reason that N73 havent got real XENON Flash bulb.

thats why we love K810.

@Plankgatan

Yes most pictures are sharp when resized. The true quality is reflected when full resolution is displayed.

eeehhh, the sharpness dosent changes a lot just because you see it in full size or not. (if the pic is sharp, it is sharp). and yes i can lay up both sizes next time.

@Plankgatan

Will you ever post full size? I'm interested in seeing the true resolution in full.

For instance, post in full size and let esato resize to it's max. Like this one.

Posted by Coquito
@plakatan: your pictures are great, but i think REO is rigth, you should post the pictures in full size.

Its the IPK-100 Camera kit case and the HBH-GV435 bluetooth headset

Most of my shots are hit and miss. Sometimes they come out fine and sometimes they come out slightly blurred.

Somehow I love these 2 photos with the Ants! a hot summer days that even ANTS must pilllage for water!

@nightblade are those photos of Bulgaria?
I once dated a very free spirited beauty from there. She broke my heart & was cruel but I gave it back to her in a subtle way. Enough that 2yrs later she was kind to me before moving back there.

any other great photos pps?

Posted by max_wedge
And it's winter here too! But very dry at the moment - we are on tough water restrictions - we can't even wash our cars anymore! Not with a bucket or anything.

Nice pics when resized......

Posted by plankgatan
[C3]............

no. ordinary k8xx pics. (no photoshop, nothing).

¤ allways have good and "right" light

¤ adjust the whitness balance (joystick and profiles. Daylight-profile is awesome)

¤ keep the phone steady

¤ take a lot off pics, (then keep the ones who is good)

----------------------------------------------------------------
off topic:

edit. REO. if a pic is sharp, it is sharp, even that you see it in full size. i have allready show you 2 examples !!!!!!! (can you stop naging about it).

I love that pic!

Posted by REO
@Plankgatan. sure no problem.
@Maxwedge thanks for full resolution photos.

Posted by max_wedge
No worries. Actually they aren't full resolution (damn flickr!) but they are better than the esato resize. If you want to see those pics full size, they can be downloaded here:

http://rapidshare.com/files/46313272/DSC00077.JPG.html
http://rapidshare.com/files/46313708/DSC00079.JPG.html
http://rapidshare.com/files/46314289/DSC00085.JPG.html
http://rapidshare.com/files/46314518/DSC00090.JPG.html

They are pretty crisp and clear though, even at full resolution.

Posted by REO
Maxwedge...... Awesome pics even at largest resolution......

I can resize a VGA photo and make it look great.

Your full resolution pics are sharp !!! It's ok to resize once and awhile then again, most of the time it's really to hide imperfections and very pixelated photos.

Posted by REO
@Plankgatan

I was looking at some old S710 photos I took awhile ago.

I resized them an the difference is not much.

Posted by mafiosa786
i thought i might throw my efforts in, took a couple of pics the other day and thought the image quality was very impressive for cam phone. Better than my w810i i think.

Boleyn pub

Bobby Moore Stand

Tell me what you think any good?

by the way they were taken with a k810i.
