no, i never take with pure "auto". i change the whitness & profile dependence of the weather. i took this photo against the sunset (the shine was perfect thin), thats why the water became so amazing. i love this pic.

@plank - Yeah, those were too sharp-images I guess (just like what you've posted in the K750 thread - your daughter . . .

Is it OK, if I make a request here matey? Can you TURN the date-stamp-option in ON-mode when taking your next pics/shots (and upload it here) . . . Thanks !

Posted by rockygali
or you can upload the pic on the photo section...
atleast there, you can let other posters rate your photo...

You must have gotten a K800i with an enhanced camera! All your pictures look perfect! My K790a can't take pictures with such clarity...

1. keep the phone steady. 2. have right light (not against the sun of course). 3. right profile (use daylight often, gives better colors).

more pics.

@wap - Were those taken from a K800 mate Why not that sharp, considering that it's an OUTDOOR-shots The sun is shining bright too

Posted by plankgatan
the thing with k800/k810 camera is that you need to really think what you are doing (light, whitness, where the sun is, etc).

if you want to take "large" photos outside (like the beach pics),

¤ you first have you bring the "daylight" profile, then you draw the whitness to ex, -0.3 or -0.6 (with the joystick),

¤ then you use best-pic or auto (best.pic works really good, just choose the one you like),

¤ dont forgett to keep the phone steady (place it on the ground or something, and of course, not against the sun).

¤ then you get a lot better colors and sharpness, (k800/k810 camera is sensitive, but when you learned it, its awesome).

here how Auto and Daylight(profiles) behaves (k810i), (not so very big different, but when you shoot in strong sunshine, it realy matters which profile you use).

Daylight profile

Auto profile

Daylight profile

he he he. i just call them profiles. the real name for them is "Whitness-balance". you have different whitness profiles to choose on. (Auto, daylight, clouds, fluorescent lamp and bulb). (the whitness controls the most important of all thing with cell phone cameras). on k810/k800 you can change the whitness in 2 ways. with the joystick and with the whitness-balance).
remember that you also have the "real" profiles. there you also find Auto, landscape, portrait, snow/beach....and so on.
