Apple this morning cut prices on iMacs and Mac minis in the UK.
iMac prices now start at £879 for the entry-level 1.83GHz Core Duo machine, that's £50 less than the previous price. The 20-inch 2GHz model now costs £1,129 - that's a substantial £100 discount on the machine.
Mac minis have seen similar price reductions. The entry-level 1.5GHz Core Solo model now costs £398, rather than the £449 previous price; meanwhile, the 1.66GHz Core Duo Mac mini now costs £529 rather than its previous £599 price.
Apple has also reduced prices across its iPod nano range, which see £10 lopped off the previous price: the 1GB model now costs £99; the 2GB model costs £129; the 4GB iPod nano's new price is £169.
The iPod HiFi has also seen its price drop, from £249 to £229.
These prices are being advised across Apple's reseller network.
All prices include VAT.

lol they reduced the macbook pros months ago by about £40 I believe they also upgraded your processor by 0.14ghz (now the entry level is 2.0ghz)
Did the nanos go down last week? I looked at them a few days ago and could have sworn it had the lower prices on the ipod nanos?
Probally all this is heppening because of the new ipod nanos and the new power mac we are going it see soon. It wouldnt surprise me if there will be a new mini mac in imac out soon as well, be keeping my eyes pealed
the mac minis are so cheap, i really dont know why lol, but under 400 for a mac mini intel cor duo is a real bargin, I hope brownlad has already sold his as prices for the older ones will also see a drop on the 2nd hand market (luckey I cant lose much on mien lol)
