can you get rid of it from displaying itself on the front screen?
ie. get rid of O2-uk which is right over the nice theme.

You can change the name using the firmware patcher from pappfer.hu but you need to flash the phone with the patched firmware and for that you need a service cable

i have got a cable, do you mean de-brand the phone?
i tried before with da-vinci but it f**ked my phone up and i had to send it off. what shall i use to de-brand or is it easy to do?
bit reluctant to incase i screw it up again
