Is bsnl providing edge services?
Yesterday i got speeds of 13kBps which means 104kbps and such speeds are only possible if the operator provides edge.. Any1 got any idea.?
Another thing.. Does any one knows whats the geographic location of bsnl's server.. I searched for its ip but got private network whereas in airtel it showed banglore

dude i m gettin contant speed of 22kByte/s i.e 176kbps using
my bro's 6630 on pc
but just 8-10 kBps on cellphone itself !!
i m a heavy downloader now a days !!
sometimes it also reaches 32kBps--just peaks !!
it appears bsnl has edge faciliteis here !
i hav not used my airtel sim from last 2 mths!!

spartan has given the process 2 surf on pc but in that thread there r already many hu hav discoverd the way 2 surf on cell as that is not a big thing for person who knows that the basic method is 2 bypass the firewall by makin 2 connection at time!!!
btw i hav used that method of surfin on my cell when i used 2 use airtel sim and my pc was not wid me!!!!!!!!! there is nothing new!!
i used 2 surf on opera the followin way as surfin on internal web application is just crap!! as no non-system recognisable file can be downloaded!!
1) Make two data accounts like airtel 1 and airtel 2
2) open opera & select airtel 1 in opera-application>settings>default cnnection. and open web services applicatiom>settings and select airtel 2
3)now close both
4)open opera and open ane site and it will say
“Access denied.
Technical description:
403 Forbidden - You are not allowed to communicate with the requested resource.”
4)NOW WITHOUT MAKIN AN EXIT FROM OPERA .,,
open web services application and open the live.airtelworld.com --airtel live site
this will establish 2 data connection in ur menu>connect>connectionmanager
5) airtel live site will load in web app.
3)now just switch over 2 opera and open ane site it will open!!
i hav also given the process 2 surf on phone when i joined esato here---

NOTE_--I HAV USED THIS WAY ON NOKIA6600 AND USING OPERA8.60
NOKIA PHONES HAV MUTLI APPLICATION WORKING CAPABILITY!!1
I DONT KNOW OF SONY ONES!!! BUT IT WILL DEFINITELY NOT WORK ON MOTOROLAS!!!
