There was, is and will be only one who is the best trained and most talented of us, axxxr. So we just have to wait a bit. Next to it, its really not a big deal for non of us to search and post here colourful news, however imo we can just imitate the master of news...

I would like to ask every member, NOT to discuss of a "new newsdirector", axxxr is on "holiday", esato and life goes on, i ll do my best to feed u with news, u can support me, by posting if u see sg interesting or just with reading the ones i posted here etc pls, DONT GUESS what will be, who will be. Its just uncomforteable for some of us imo, pointless and wasting of time. Thx

Sorry to sound like a b**** but that happens when one person only is in charge of a section. Now, I see alot of forums working with a "back page news" section on the forum, it means that anybody can post a news and "news mods" are making the decission if it's worth the frontpage or not. Even if it's not really worth frontpage it stays on that particular forum so anybody can read it anyway.
That way anybody can participate in the news section of the site whitout having special rights.

Back to the topic now, i guess it will be hard to find someone expeacially with 89891+ members
but i guess there might be someone that might able to do the job but he lives in the states and he has a really rare cat which he loves to bits.

Personally, I'd like to object to the deification of Axxxr. I realise that he comes from a culture that sees suicide as matyrdom but I think Axxxr falling on his own sword in this case is nothing more than an aknowledgement that he can't work within the rules.
I'd like to remind everyone that I've had words with Axxxr for posting inflammatory headlines, the story of which does not fully corroborate the facts. I accused him a number of times of not reading all the way to the bottom of a story before posting an article; it seemed to me that he contributed only what agreed only with his particular bias - a policy which ultimatly isolated him and made his position untenable as London-uk noted.
I'd support Methylated Spirit or Bobafett as replacement News Editor, but I'm also intrigued by the Moderator edited Front-page / Back-page system.
It could work very well so long as it doesn't require too much extra from the Esato staff.
Please, lets not have any more criticism of Laffen and the Mods. It's unwarranted.

U can get a new newsdirector, but axxxr cannot be replaced. Mainly cos of his long experiences here, the well known sources and professional managment. We have no news since 29 of may in the frontpage. I miss the news, but more the responseable person for it...
