i have a M reg renault 19 1.4RT forsale - £100, can drive it away today
(ok, i will need to start it with jump leads as teh abttery is dead, but it runs fine when started

........In cardiff.

Also going 3rd party, on someone elses insurance is the worst thing you can do - 2 reasons - one, its ONLY THIRD PARTY - your car aint covered.... secondly - because you need to get your no- claims in asap....... i am 25 and have 5 years no claims now... i pay under £350 for me and my girlfriend to have fully comp (with protection) on our 1.7 caviliar

happy days!

na i dont think they do. i just did a confused.com quotation under my own name and the quote on a 1999 1.4 rover 214 was £2319! and that was saying that it was kept on a drive, i have a pass plus, only do 3000 miles and the car only worth £1000!

EDIT: thats 3rd party fire and theft to!

3rd party is fine, just dont drive stupidly, as long as when you crash its the other persons fault then its ok, theres plenty of time in later life to build no claims, or you could go with direct line, use your parents name as policy holder and put yourself as named driver, you still build no claims discount

try tesco mate.... i aint convinced by confussed.com

i know they are suppost to search tesco's too but im sure therews more than meets the ey with confussed.com

That does weem expensive... but tbh when i started driveing (7 years ago) i bought a 1.1 renault 5 - it wa sa shed.. very old, very slow etc..... i bought third party fire and theift and it still cost me £800+ its the price you gotta pay for being born with a weiner

only go third party if you can handle the fact that you car may one day - be gone! if thats ok with you then third party is definatly the way to go.....

and accidents do happen, and sometimes they are your fault - no-ones perfect... i know plenty of people out there who have messed up their insurance or their parents.... its all good and well to say drive carefully, but if you do crash, that figure of £2000ish will double - infact you wont be ablt to get insurance lol.

If youre the type to spend a lot on a car, then i say start off as you mean to go on.....

i think if you wana drive perfectly you can , you just have to be aware of whats happening around you 24/7, dont ta ke your eyes off the road to change CD or something

I am pretty sure that rover made a 1.1 200 series. They are very rare and they do need you to push them up a hill.
