I have a question to the public.
(I said I'd accept installments however this seemed to be misunderstood)

I just want to know what you all would do if you are in my position.

You are told you'd get
140 today, 80 tomorrow and the rest before the 24th (no specified date).
and you are asked to send out your item today as well (even before the 140 arrives at your account). This member is also known to sell stuff on the site so you shouldn't have any worries or doubt. However when asked to deposit today before sending out the item, you are told that the buyer wants to buy something else which costs 80 pounds and so can only send 60 today.

How would you feel and solve this situation so that both people are happy.
I am just trying to figure something out.

id stick to your guns and take what you said, no point in letting people f**k you about, your a trusted trader and you are the seller aka its your decision.

p.s. I got the mda thing, I hate it lol, but exactly as described so im happy on that front

personally mate, i wouldnt send nothing out unless i feel totally comfortable with teh person im dealing with.......

If you feel you can trust this person then go for it if theres even a slight bit of doubt, i would wait for payment mate..... never put yourself into a position where you are not in control or comfortable with.....

payment in full up front or tell em to sling t heir hook

Posted by amnesia
thank you very much for your comments and advice.

I guess I'll have to see how this plays through.

What I intended with installments is that you could pay in installments and get the Mac Mini once you've fully paid (unless of course I know you, in which case it would be half now and half later)

edit:
alright I've decided to ask my parents for the money I need for my trip.

So I guess I'm not in a rush to sell this anymore, although I would still love to sell it before the 25th.

I'll format the mini today and get it nice and set up for you so I can send it tomorrow
恵 - I have to change my host... *sighs* says (19:47):

恵 - I have to change my host... *sighs* says (19:48):
I have a brand new cable that'll let you attach it to a tv using a normal Video wire (or through your video recorder) but that's 8 pounds more
anyway, the remainder will be paid 4 days before the dead line of the 24th (so the 20th) and no later than the 22nd.

恵 - I have to change my host... *sighs* says (19:49):

恵 - I have to change my host... *sighs* says (19:55):

(۪Φ۪)- - --^[ ÐhãlíwªL]^-- - -(۪Φ۪) says (19:55):

Alright,
but uh oh to Solid's comment...

Posted by joebmc
Well i'm confused

Posted by amnesia
so I guess the mac mini is sold.

There is still the DVI cable (so you can watch your mac on a tv as a monitor)

for 8 pounds

and the Official excellent condition Wireless Apple Mouse for 28 pounds.

Posted by kk.226
Hey mate, will you be getting your hands on one of the new imacs? Or a macbook pro? Hope it's ok asking here, as I think it's sold now

Posted by Luke-the-magic-man
he he, I got bored of my powerbook today and bought a mac mini, 20"apple lcd (and yes i also bought a dell one the other week) wireless keyboard and mouse and 2 years left on the apple care plan all boxed and i got a ace deal on it

Posted by amnesia
I'm sure you're enjoying your mac mini like crazy Luke!

@Kk, I dont really have any major plans to buy a Macbook, but seeing as I've already asked my parents for the money for the trip I might get one IF I can scrounge around.

In Australia, they're about 650 pounds for the 2.0Ghz version, that's a whopping 230 pounds cheaper than the UK!!

I've still got the cable and mouse for sale guys.

Posted by Luke-the-magic-man
how much for cables and mouse altogether? I already have them but may want spares.

to brownlad, the mac minis are asome, I would have bought amnisias but this was kinda a impulse buy + (i got it for a price I couldnt refuse) , I only arranged it at 2-3pm today and ended up driving to london and back

anyone wana buy my old powerbook?

Posted by p900 lover
how much?

Posted by Luke-the-magic-man
offers of over £500

@ amnisia - with a mac mini do you have to press that tiny button on the back every time you want to switch it on? Or is there another way to do it?

Posted by amnesia
yes you do have to press the button at the back (the powerbutton) I'm not aware of any other method, especially if you're wireless.

I mentioned to Luke that

if both are purchased the price would be 35.

Posted by brownlad007
any1 know where i can get hold of virtual pc ? except for the slooooow downloading method we all know about

Posted by kk.226
Yeah... the shops
