One of my mates was having problems with his w800i with some songs playing "distorted"
I had a look at it and yer some songs sound bad.....as if the volume is to high for the phone. So i bluetoothed a couple of the bad songs to my w800i. They play fine on mine all be it quiter.
I checked the volume is at max on my phone and checked it was on the other. Then checked the firmware version was the same, which is was (R1AA008)
How can 2 from what i can see identical phones 1 be ALOT louder than another?

@jonnywells - look in the back of the phone to see how long it was between them being made - for example, my v600i says 05w45, which means that it was made in 2005, week 45. report back plz.
@all - if anyone else has w800 with good or bad sound quality, look in back to see when made...i don't know about this, but to be honest it sounds like a faulty batch was made.

@jonnywells - i take it it was an eq prob. then rather than faulty phone batch?

Nice man, I didn't know that on the back of SE phones, those series of numbers and letters mean the year and the week they were made, that's a pretty pice of useful information for me, thanks!
