Ok, i hear quite alot about elder scrolls Oblivion and about how good it is but i want to hear a review from all you esato oblivion gamers. Also, ive seen star wars Knights of the old republic 2 for about £7 so, what does everyone think of it and should i buy it? Thanks in advance everyone!

If your PC can handle it!

I've played KOTOR and it was smashing! I haven't played KOTOR 2 yet, but from what I hear it is rather good too.

If you are a Star Wars fan then you might be interested in Star Wars Galaxies, a MMORPG.

Thats the thing, i have a 1.3ghz wi 512 ram! if i put it on the very lowest it might play...or i could just get an upgrade. And ive been thinking about getting galaxies but its pay monthly (ack) and i havent got broadband yet.

i've played Oblivion for quite a while now,excellent game,I fully recommend it. I had an AMD Athlon XP 2600+,512 MB Ram,and a ATi Radeon 9800 Pro at 256 Mb (all settings at medium) and I could not stand the lags I had.And my OS was newly installed.Now I have an AMD Athlon 64 3700+,1GB of Ram and ATi Radeon X1600 XT,i can play it at HIGH settings (1280x1024) with no problems at all.As for the game,as I sayd,excellent.

cheers,

Darn, that might be a problem then. If the processor prices come down by the end of august im going to get a 3.6ghz pentium processor and 2gigs of memory. should be enough to play any game for the next 10 years! so, in oblivion, whats it like? is it truly free roaming with a massive game world? and is it anything like Fable? (my favourite RPG at the moment)

@MKiG

Although they say you can play Galaxies with a 56K connection I wouldn't recommend it.

Go for KOTOR and KOTOR 2. I got them both, about halfway though KOTOR, the second one supposed to be better but duuno yet. Also KOTOR should be able to run ok on your current set up.

Cool, thanks. i havent actually seenn KOTOR 1 yet, only 2. unfortunately, i dont think oblivion will work on my set up. Does anyone else have specs like mine and have oblivion on it?

Go for oblivion, have it on x360 and it's veery very good man, won't be disappointed. What I liked most about it, it's its first-person-view, just like any other first-person-shooters (Halo my favorite obviously) so that makes you being more involved in the game because you don't see when a monster or any other human attacks you from behind or from the sides. Also it's a real time rpg, and you control the sword (you decide when to strike and everything), not like Kotor which you just have to click an enemy and it will start attacking it by istelf.
Also I would strongly recommend you Condemned: Criminal Origins if you like those kind of Resident Evil, FEAR, kind of games, once you try it, you will know what I'm talking about.

i played both kotor 1 and 2 right to the end...AMAZING games

But oblivion is also amazing, and next gen Can´t you get both??? The kotor games should be cheap by now

Just think on how great Kotor 3 will be...drool

Im planning on getting both, just depends what platform though. I might get a 360 for halo3 and oblivion,as it would probably be cheaper than a computer upgrade! And i also recommend Condemned (but i only have the demo) and FEAR, two very good horror fps'.
