First of all there is no such word as "da", the correct term is the.
1) >*<<*<* = Shows you Model Info, Service Info, Sim Lock and has service test to test functions of the phone
2) To show how much battery you have left press the volume +/- buttons at the main screen (not menu).

When I try to "write" < or > , it only opens the shortcuts assigned. I think I did not understand how to do it properly.
Please help.

you have to do it form the main screen. and < and > indicate joystick movements, not the symbols so you do this
move the joystick right then hit star, push the joystick to the left twice, hit star, joystick to the left again, then star once more and you will be in the menu.
the other one is
push the joystick left, hit star twice, then push it left again.
hope it helps

I understand the process, only the moment I push the stick left or right it starts immediatly another application (sound recorder, calendar) in this case. Shall I delete these 2 shortcuts and put them back after? Thanks.

Hi,
and how do I press > or< on a SE W810i?
sorry for this question.
I can't find any answeranywhere.

< is a joystick movement to the left and > is to the right

There is no >or< button on a SE W810i...

dont delete the shortcut, it does go into an applicaiton, but just let it.
on phones without a joystick - use the D-pad (the thing that i slike a joystick)

argh god thick asses - i've known that code since i was 9 or something! - jkjk! - hope you have it sorted out, and even though it goes into an app. just keep on pressing the buttons and it WILL come out with the menu. IF IT DOES NOT you have done it wrong.

Funny thing this...when the keypad is locked, its pretty obvious that u can't make calls without unlocking the phone...but hey! its SONY ERICSSON! anything can happen!!! try this out, u can still dial these EMERGENCY NOS. (by default 911 & 112). NOT MUCH of an application but its fun doing things off-track !!! CHEERS!!!
Posted by rockygali
yes... thats why its called emergency numbers... SE enables it even if the phones keypad are locked... obviously coz u want to push the buttons quickly right? coz its an emergency... SE is just logical about it. rather than unlocking first your keypad then dialing your emergency number.
man how i luv

There is a < it is the Rewind button on the centre ring. |<<
awave is correct.... Menus will appear but if you follow the steps correctly you will finally end up at the correct menu.

This is not a sony Ericsson special thing. Almost all phones do this.
Even when you type in the SIM PIN. If you type 911 or 112 it allows you to call this right there from the pin input box.

Behind the battery, on the white sticker inside the phone, you will see a code (4th line above the barcode), for example 03W21. This means your phone was manufactured in week 21, 2003
