This phone is absolutely the greatest !! And, for me, it will be the only replacement of my one year old T68m…!!!

What’s great by Siemens is :
- you don’t have to wait more than 8 months for a software update just to be able to do an apostrophe in the SMS T9…
- you’ll probably have the possibility to remove the operator name… (impossible with the T68…)
- you’ll probably have the possibility to add the “street” and “city” fields into your contacts… (impossible with the T68…)
- you’ll probably have more than 1000 contacts…
- and, above all, you’ll probably have a FAST software…

I think it looks better than the T300 but not as good as the T68m/i. The only thing it has over the T300 is the extended organizer, which is admittedly a nice addition. Plus
, missed that. But as copman points out, it's hititng the market a little late. And the camera add-on isn't pretty...

The siemens s55 will be cheaper than the t68 including the camera.this could kill the sales of the t68.

it has a nice design.and many would rather choose s55 coz it has java and polyfonic tones.And siemens are much better than nokia! thats for sure! almost no problems with siemens.

i now found a replacement phone (s55) suited for me. easily upgradable software thru the siemens website and known german quality and durability. i like the design and it's compact size including the camera with flash. the mca's of SE does not have that very important feature. i do hope the s55 will be available in the US too coz that's what i will grab and not the s56.
