nokia 6280- any thoughts?

I ahve just been contacted by one of my service providers "3" who are about to send me my next foc upgrade they are sending me the nokia 6280 and have informed me i have a 7 day cooling off period. Before this period expires and i am stuck with a dud anybody got any thoughts/reviews on the handset?

nokia 6280 looks like very good
phone.
I don't like slider phone and that's a reason why I'll wait for nokia 6233.
If it's the offer of you provider very good - price of 6280 isn't big you should take it.

Nokia 6280 arrived today and on first impressions it looks fine, screen is good camera seems ok more testing will determine if i keep it and for free of charge and a reduction in monthly line rental cant complain i guess

the first ones had really big fw problems and next to it, cos of the slider solution, under the dispaly it was full of dust. even today, every 3rd model is a 6280 in the nokia service list ( austria ). might be the newer ones are better.

None as yet but will keep you informed, the only thing that concerns me is reading another thread
"w810 or n80"
Some one posted they are waiting for the n80 to come out on "3" after seeing this weeks "gadget show" the phone looks very impressive.
Then i guess there is always new phones coming cant wait for ever

i have used the 6280 many times and very much like it as a phone, seeing as a don't like nokias particularly I was pretty impressed with this phone.

However, I have heard from a few people with the phone that they are having problems with it on 3.

indeed, probably the 3 branding caused that many bugs at usage.

No it`s not unlocked,
Regarding the branding the casing isnt so much of a problem but on the screen there is quite a bit, that is concerning.

The "3" contract that allowed me to get this hand set is more of a back up/secondary line. The primary line is a k750i on o2 and that needs upgrading in 3 weeks so i have got to got through this again But decision is nearly made on that, waiting for w900 or n80
